This is one of my favorite videos I’ve got to say. I love all the country-side. Growing up as a kid I grew up out in the country with all those dirt roads and used to walk them as no1 would be on them. Breathing in that fresh air and seeing all the scenery were all some great memories brought back to me from this video. Thank u for bringing us along, & allowing us into this part of ur life. 😊

I grew up in Indiana. I moved to Tennessee because my 1st husband was in the army. 7yrs ago moved to North Dakota and love it. Thanks for taking me back. The roads still look the same. Should be somewhere to research your parents plots. Love this.

I like the bridges like that. You can't see through the bottom to the water. I loved Mom and Dad's first house. My aunt and uncle lived in an old chicken house on her parents property when they first married out in TN. I'd love to slide down that hill when I was a kid. Now, it would terrify me! The train track story made me laugh. Someone is going to think you're "casing out the joint" if you keep driving up and down that street.

I loved seeing all the houses of family members and stories, I think they’re all sooo cool. Another thing I think ur gonna think is cool is to go back in the video on ur mom & dad’s first house and zoom in the window, do u c something or someone? Looks as if as a teenager, they can be any age as spirit. I wonder if u have any pics of ur parents at that age and compare it & show & tell. I think that would be beyond awesome & cool! 😊

Vivian, when your dad and uncles would take the tires off the car to get to town when they didn't have gas, what tracks are you talking about them going down? Train tracks?! Yikes!
@terri5757

I’ve heard of people doing that years ago. For some reason they made cars, or some cars, the right size that the rims fit perfectly on the railroad tracks. I’m pretty sure Vivian’s dad and uncles knew the route and times the trains came through there. But I would have been worried that there might be a change of schedule sometime.🫣

I remember growing up with many cousins. We had so much fun together. But as we all became adults pretty much all my cousins moved away in different directions. I’m the only one who stayed in our hometown. We all just drifted apart which is really sad. Many of them I don’t even know their kids or grandkids or even their names. I just couldn’t ever imagine it being this way when I was a kid.
