@@erikametcalf7419as someone who has a similar maternal situation, the commenter is right. run. don’t look back, they will not change. they’re both miserable and use you as a scapegoat and someone to blame all their unhappiness on. they continuously take out their unresolved issues on you and when you set boundaries they hit you with the theatrics (like your mom dramatically falling to the floor and crying) it’s all drama with no actual change, i bet she still acts the same way since this video…blood is not always thicker than water and neither of these people should be considered family to you. they literally hate you. i know that’s harsh but i can see it because ive been through it and i can tell you see it too because you kept mentioning it, you kept mentioning it because despite what your mother was saying about not hating you her actions have always proved otherwise. i truly feel for you. i resonated so hard with you when she tried to force that hug on you at the end and you just sat there…it’s so hard to embrace affection from a woman who never felt like a mom. trust me i understand it all. you deserve all the happiness and contentment in the world - we can’t choose our parents but we can choose who to receive love from. whether it’s a friends mom or your partners mom you can still have that maternal connection without the toxicity, it’s just a matter of grieving what once was and branching out to form healthier connections. wishing you all the best genuinely 🤎

What I noticed about Karamo is that he doesn’t interject because he wants to see what the relationship dynamics are. That’s why he’s always taking notes on his little notepad. If he interjects, interrupts, or corrects them then they will just wind up doing what he’s asking them to do, but he won’t be able to see how they really deal with one another in real life. When she admitted to purposely triggering her daughter. I just didn’t know what to say. That was just…that was the lowest moment. Not sure how to come back from that. The mom purposely attacked her daughter by her own admission. It justifies everything the daughter is saying.

😮 how toxic and disgusting. The mom is extremely dysfunctional and sure did make it become generational. What a way to pass down brokenness. What kind of man/partner/spouse is the son going to be? The daughter is a mess. What kind of men is the daughter going to attract? Is she already a single mother? This is extremely tragic😢.

I have a toxic family , karamo you needed to check him for calling her out her name !! Honey my family had me drowing in hurt until I turned it over to God ...they would pick and wait for me to react to act like it was all me ....they hate me because I'm not like them ....and that's ok ..but my peace came when I began to let go and give it to God even my moma she does the most !! Act just like a witch manipulative ....give it to God or you'll be repeating the same cycles .. she'll leave off that stage and do the same thing ...they'll act like everything is so sweet for about 6 months and fall right back into their old ways .. .let it go and give them to God

@@baddiekawa5816you really fail to understand you daughter bc the economy, the world, and the work force isnt the same as it was when you were younger. I promise my mother is upper middle class and she sees it. The dollar doesnt have the same value. She takes it easy on me because I explained to her Bout coming into the adult world during a pandemic AND a recession. There’s a lot of nuance and you gotta find more understanding. You are the mother. You should be there for her to depend on. If you have nothing dependable thats your shortcoming. You have to be equipped to be a mother. And money isn’t the only reaource

Mom needs to act more like an adult. Ain't no way she should have been looking at her daughter's boyfriend and having relations with the friend of her daughter's father. She is supposed to be an example of a woman to her daughter. I think mom might be in a little competition with her daughter. Why call her a "yip, yip, yap, yap Chiwawa?" 🤦🏾

Something about how neither the mother nor Karamo corrected the brother when he called his sister a bitch rubbed me the wrong way. I understand Karamo was likely taken a back and trying to process the entire exchange because the whole thing was toxic, but the silence from their mother revealed a lot about the dynamics of the relationships in their family. Smh it’s sad all around tbh🤦🏾♀️
