This happened at a My Morning Jacket concert, otherwise you'd be right. A strange situation in where the original artist is a guest on her own song...

When artists like Jim James/Erykah Badu take such a HUGE leap and perform a song like that together, it's not only one of the COOLEST live performances either of them have ever done, but it should inspire other musicians to take more chances outside of their comfort zone and spread their wings a bit. That was just super cool and funky!!!!

I'm definitely not getting any chills. For one, it's just not my style of music, but secondly, I truly felt that guitar solo was bland. Like straight up. I'll likely get trashed because the majority of people watching this are likely fans of the band/song, but man that was rough. Let me just play and shred the same note and shake my guitar aggressively, wear white Uggz boots or whatever, and get down on the ground to make my guitar playing seem better than it is. Sorry, I'm not feeling it.
@richardmbowman
