There's a way to open the truck bed manually in a case when there's no power. There's a slot next to the rear license plate where you stick your key in. This will manually open the truck bed. Great truck! I plan to get the 2021 later this year.

Good luck with your new truck. Always fun to get a new vehicle. But as far as that new engine is concerned I probably would not buy a first year anything from anyone (Ford, Fiat, Toyota...anyone) to give them time to surface and address bugs. This is not some theoretical concern to me. Years ago I did just that. Did not work out well. But I learned quickly. Never happened again. Looking forward to the mods.

I have a 2020 Silverado RST Z71 with the 3.0 duramax and 10 speed. The 10 speed is not an Allison transmission, its the same 10 speed that is used in the gas trucks and was a joint venture between Ford and GM. Its very similar to the 10 speed Ford uses in the F-150 as well as countless other vehicles. I love my truck though, I average 27-30 mpg daily and even 11-13 pulling a 35ft travel trailer. I'm already at 23k miles no major issues, your check engine light I can almost gaurentee you was from sitting on the incline, these trucks have very sensitive wheel speed sensors. Parking on any type of incline especially without the e-brake can cause them to throw several codes and the check engine light will go back off quickly. There is a service bulletin your dealer can perform to help the issue though. Anyways, good luck with your truck!

This is our website: www.gm-navigation.com/ You can chat with us through the web chat. We can fix your factory Nav if you would like to fix that! For other people: We can add Factory Nav to most other vehicles and CarPlay to older vehicles. Keep up the work on your videos, you've really gotten me into EDC more so!

The tailgate excuse for breakage is the same for anything else. If something breaks you fix it. Any device on a vehicle can break. So you fix it or bring it to the shop. Shit happens. Anything would be annoying if it breaks.

This is a very good looking truck. Everything looks good & tough; which is what you want in a truck!.. I think the CarbonPro truck bed is pretty neat/interesting.. But... "Public Announcement to Automakers" Carbon Fiber is not the best material to use for the interior of a truck! "Use wood!.." It's not a sports car... Trucks are supposed to be strong, tough & cool. Carbon fiber is strong but doesn't look cool on a truck. I like the idea of using carbon fiber for the truck bed! The weight & strength properties make since, but apparently the aftermarket isn't working as well. - I hope you're able to find something that works out Taylor (Best Damn EDC) Because that is a sweet truck!.. It's just a shitty problem to arise after the fact. GOOD LUCK!.. 😁👍

@@TaylorMartinStuff That's great!.. That's some good news.. Do they have a few different kinds of bed setup's that you really like?.. Or are they just the only place that might be compatible with your truck? Once again your 2020 GMC Sierra AT4 CarbonPro Turbo Diesel is badass truck with some really cool features.. You made a good choice and I believe you are going to really enjoy it.. It's just crazy/insane that there are no attachment points on the top of the truck bed walls!.. - Does it at least have some attachment points on the inside walls of the truck bed?.. - Also, is it compatible with flat bed covers and/or truck bed caps?.. I think that the right model/brand of certain bed caps look really good and provide lots of storage space, both horizontal and vertical storage space. Especially when compared to regular flat bed covers!.. P.S. Have you checked into having some company or someone make custom attachment points for your CarbonPro truck bed?...

I’m told there is a cap just to the right of the rear license plate. Pull that cap and there is a key hole. That can be used to open the tailgate if the battery dies or if there is an electrical malfunction. I haven’t verified yet. I just picked my AT4 carbon pro duramax this week.

I have a Tundra. Only thing they have in common is that they’re both pick ups. Gmc is light years ahead in tech etc. Tundra has is heat for reliability. If I had to replace my Tundra today would most likely be an AT4. Tundra is just a basic tried and true truck. Nothing fancy about them.

Size! I meant to mention this in the video, but I'm sure it'll come up plenty more. But the main thing was cabin space. It's always been a tight sqeeze trying to get a car seat in the back. So full-size was a must. And as much as I like Tundras, their fuel economy leaves much to be desired.

You would’ve never stopped kicking yourself after getting the Raptor if the MPGs were that important to you. If you ever need to tow more, I’ve got the 2017 2500 with the big Duramax which will pull your house off of its foundation and drag it down the street and I’ve gotten 24.5 MPG on the highway although not towing anything then. Towing MPG doesn’t matter in my opinion anyway.
@TaylorMartinStuff
