You got a really good deal on a really good little vehicle. I got an 03 for my granddaughter last year. It had 239,000 on it. For yours, grills, bumper covers, and other parts are everywhere and inexpensive, since the CR-V is basically the best-selling small SUV ever. The SRS light is probably dirty seat belt buckles. You have to pop them open and clean the microswitches with some contact cleaner and a small brush. There's videos on YT. Oh, and did you check to see if you still have the picnic table under the trunk mat? That was a novel idea by Honda. BTW: I checked the live data on it the other day - Long Term Fuel Trim: 0.0! Incredible on such an old engine.

Awesome! I was actually Able to borrow a Snap-On scan tool from a local shop in my area and the SRS code came back to the weight sensor for the passenger seat. I cleared the code out and it hasn’t come back since! One of the guys there said it can happen if you transport heavy objects in the passenger seat 🤷♂️ Also mine does not have the picnic table still, but I was able to find a decent one at a pick n pull in my area

solid car I do wish you the best of luck. I have two of them right now the first one I bought was in a collision and honestly it was only good for like a year before a lot of things started to fall apart so now personally I try to avoid a car that has had any major impact regardless of the brand.

That’s definitely a smart decision. This CR-V is no longer mine but is still in my family and hasn’t given us any issues so far. I made sure that none of the damage was structural before I bought it because that always will cause issues no matter what.

I love this car and i own it too. very good quality car and should run for ever so don't be too ancious if its like over 200 000m i have the one with the manual transmission, and i had to change the clutch. I have never done anythyng that serious on a car before myself but proceded to change the clutch myself any way. at first i didn't think i would make it but i did it and it wasn't really that hard, just when you do these things you don't give up and if you dont give up you will be able to fix it. other than the clutch this car has been on the road problem free for over 2 years i have owned it. mine has soon gone 300 000km and runs perfectly. and this car is still very easy to work on if anything is to break, the one hardest thing to change on this car is the starter, i say it was easier to remove the gearbox than the starter itself lol 🤣 On my recomendations = buy this car that runs on gas either with the automatic or manual gear box as both of them are just as good. i don't remember what problem the diesel one had or if it was a minor or a majore issue.

That’s a steal man! I paid much more for mine because it ran good and the paint and body was good, but I ended up having to get a lot of things repaired or replaced. With the money you save you’ll have money for any repairs. I do love mine. There is a recall on the air bags that a dealer will replace for free. Check with them.

In my experience parts are still readily available for these vehicles. Honda used that same K24 based engine in their cars up until very recently. One of the best things about owning one of these old Hondas is just how easy they are to repair and how cheap the parts are.
