If u have Russian roots, your ancestors were from Russian Empire or USSR and u can prove it, u can apply for joining The Programm. U just need to adress to Russian Embassy, prepare documents, and u will get Russian citizenship when u come to Russia. According to the Programm, u should get help in transportation, finding a place to live and job, if needed. Money u can bring in cash as much as u want, but have to declare it if it is more than 10 000 dollars/euros per a person and if it is more than 100 000 dollars/euros, u should have proofs of its legal origin (like u sold your property papers or closed your bank account papers). @АлександрБрехов-п2п

There was a time, quite a long time ago, about 50 years ago :), on Lake Baikal they wanted to build a factory for processing wood into paper, which could pollute the water of Lake Baikal, BUT people opposed this and did not build a factory. And therefore, Baikal does not receive a drop of "industrial water" or any other waste at all. The water on Lake Baikal is so clean and transparent that you can see the bottom 15 meters deep....And by the way, this is why the water on Lake Baikal is cold in summer, it does not warm up in summer, in hot weather, because the water in Lake Baikal is so transparent that the sun's rays pass through the water as through glass :)

Hi Daniel. Oh it was great to see you by the lake! Horseshoe lake is beautiful and that reflection of birch trees is something I love to see too, it is also sort of a symbol of Russian nature. As kids we would watch lots of movies from Russia and Siberia and birches were everywhere. I was by "my" lake today, it was raining heavily but with a raincoat I was fine..saw a fishermen and ask him if he was going to eat the fish he catches and he looked at me and said. No, I just catch and release. You know I ask different fishermen when I am out about here in PA, USA and none so far told me he would take fish home and make a meal out of it. Czech republic has got some of those deadly swamps and you are right, it would swallow you under, so I agree..it is some adrenaline experience, be careful. Glad for you all is working out, having that lot and house is a blessing. Regarding that paranoia of this place, I agree, and you see it in parts of population too, not only politicians. Politics of USA do bother me and I try to keep myself protected from it , focus on going to the nature that is by the way very beautiful here too, lots of mountains, forests and lakes full of fish, but in the city where I am close by you will find tent areas just like you showed. Hi Dan! Watching you from Greece. Happy to see you happy there. I hope you will enjoy the peace you've found. I think that this "they are out to get us" is a European thing that the US inherited. Quite an old story to basically justify an occupation or a colonization. Currently, we, Greece, are infected with the Woke syndrome, but we try to fight it. It's not easy since the Dollar, printing uncontrollably, can still buy any corrupt politician. But it seems that it is in decline since a great many understood the rotten nature of it. Many here feel that Russia currently is fighting for them too and no matter what the Greek government wants, we stand by Russia. Great content, wish you and Ksenia all the best!

Semper Fi, Brother!! I'm a Marine who married a wonderful Russian woman from Cheboksary, Russia [Chuvashia Republic] back in 2007 and brought her to the Fort Worth, Texas area. So happy for you and your new life there in your Russian village; if I weren't 77 yoa and didn't so totally depend on my Social Security and VA 100% disability to live [yup, PTSD (65%), Agent Orange, Camp Lejeune Water, and serious cardiac issues], I'd already be there... I envy you! Enjoy your stories of your life in Siberia. Take care, Bro. Take care of that beautiful woman!!

Im watching from Missouri brother. I moved from Russia to USA almost 30 years ago. Stories like yours would NEVER happen back then, everyone was trying to leave. Its crazy how Russia came around and I see vids like urs and that Canadian Arand guy or the Justus Walker guy. CRAZY! In so little time the West is where freedom and religion is persecuted, and RUSSIA of all places is the place people flee to. I am shocked.

I have been in mosquito swarms in beaver meadows in northern Michigan, in boreal wetlands in Canada, and near Alaska’s Yukon River. Western Siberia has more. On calm and sultry evenings as we busied ourselves around the camp, mosquitoes came at us as if shot from a fire hose. Usually mosquitoes cluster in a cloud around their targets, but as Volodya made dinner I observed a thick and proximate cloud surrounding him head to toe, and then a whole other sort of candidate swarm around that inner swarm, and then more in all directions, minutely enlivening the sky. With such astronomical numbers, Siberian mosquitoes have learned to diversify.

I live NW of Los Angeles, in Ventura county. It is beautiful where you are. That fish was awesome! That is such a beautiful place. This reminds me of how the Sierras were years ago, heading in from the 395 highway heading west. And yes, there are mosquitoes there, too. I wish you the best in starting your family. I'd grab some jungle juice for those mosquitoes. It'll save you a lot of itching! I hope your house deal goes smoothly. If you could talk about the process of getting citizenship and/or legal residency, that would be interesting. Horseshoe lake is beautiful! I lived on a ranch where we had a lake similar to that in Central California. The lake was across the driveway, so I could get up in the morning and go fishing by stepping across the driveway. You have a great start and a beautiful property to finish building your home. The property looks beautiful! When you get the tractor on there, it's going to be a great piece of property. Be sure to be aware of your grading and drainage, as well as the leech field away from water and a garden. The soil there looks amazing! The grass there looks healthy. I'd love to see the house and yard come together. Congratulations on your new home! It looks like you took a trip to visit family, too. How exciting! God bless!

There are many insect repellent drugs in Russia...And at this time, at which the video was shot, there are still very few insects in this place in Siberia, snow has recently passed and insects have not yet appeared. They appear at the very end of May, early June. And then there is actually a lot of midge.....BUT again, not everywhere, as a rule, there are not many midges near reservoirs with a fresh wind......And by the way, in the hot summer, there are so many midges in the taiga and they are so hungry that no ointments will save you for more than 15 minutes :).
