Your videos are helping me so much in the planning of my pond. I'm unsure which set of plans to buy for my filters though. The pond will be roughly 5,000 to 6,000L and I have sourced 3 210L barrels

Hi mate, good to here the videos are of some help to you. The Midi filter on 120 ltr tubs would have done for your pond size, but with your larger tubs, I would suggest the Pro Mk2 filter. As you will know, it's always good to over filter a pond, and it will also mean less filter cleaning with the larger tubs. Also all the tubs will be on the same level with the Pro Mk2 filter plans. If I can help further just give me a shout on pondfilters@gmail.com Thanks, Terry.

Hi Terry Looking good and progressing nicely. Interested to know if you re lined the paddling pools, if not, how did the fish do? Interested to know as I am thinking of emptying mine to give it a deep clean so I will need a cheap holding tank. Looking forward to you next update. Regards Kevin
@Wrighty
8 жыл бұрын
Hi Kevin, Thank you. No, I didn't reline the pool. Someone told me they had there fish in exactly the same pool for 3 years so I didn't bother. The fish don't seem to have bothered at all. They never stopped feeding and they've spawned while they've been in there. So I'm quite impressed as it was only just over £100. and well made. Terry.

@Wrighty
3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kyle. Good to hear your enjoying the videos. My concrete footing was 9" (23cm) x 9" (23cm) this will allow you to get 2 courses of brick wide. It does depend on how many courses of brick your having. I mixed the concrete 4 ballast to 1 cement. Hope this helps. Terry.

Hi, Yes I use Cloverleaf and have never had a problem. The cloverleaf won't harm your fish or your filter. It's really well worth the money. I was going to suggest checking the bulb on your UV. If you have green water it's not working. Also keep it running 24/7. I do think the UV is the problem. Let me know how you get on. Terry & Happy Ponding.
