This brings back the memories. My dad had a Black 62 four door Custom. I learned to drive in it. I remember the electroluminescent lighting and square steering wheel.

My experience with the aluminum radiator was not good. I bought a 61 Lincoln that was overheating when driving in town and anytime actually less than 40 mph. I finally figured it out: The fins on the alum radiator were so close together that the factory fan would not pull air through it. The radiator was made for electric fans that are shallow pitched and will pull air through. The factory engine mounted fan is designed for volume of air but will not pull through a tightly built radiator. As soon as I put a factory brass radiator back into the car it ran cool regardless of conditions. Note: not all alum radiator are built this way. However, it is worth a look. Just compare the fins on your original radiator to the alum and if it is a problem you will see how closely spaced the fins are on the alum.

I will defiantly check it out Jeff ! The guy I bought it from put the aluminum one in it. I have the original, but it needs to be rodded out. I am going to try a dual electric fan to see if that will work.
