Your the first one i came across that isnt afraid to cut what needs cut you did it for the health of your hair and has made me look up to you to keep trimming my waist length 3c hair. Thank you. It feels good seeing a woman doing this for her health and not keeping split ends for length its teaching women that we can let it go

Hey lovely 💗 thank you so much and no problem! Yes it’s so important that we aren’t afraid to let those ends go. Though I understand why so many are afraid because of people cutting too much of their hair in the past, it’s so important to prioritize health over length. So I’m happy I was able to show how I do it at home for those who maybe are afraid or those like you who want to keep up trimming. Thanks for watching lovely💗 I’m happy I could help

Hi! 😊just want to point out that raw eggs do not at all have small enough protein molecules to penetrate the hair shaft and cuticle, this is a fact-this is why chemists do not classify raw eggs as a protein for the hair-it won’t reinforce the protein in your hair whatsoever in the efficacy your looking for-more research needs to be done. Though it is a great lubricant to protect the hair-so its better to perhaps add real hydrozled protein ingredients (eggs or wheat, etc. any! ) to your lovely products so that it is scientifically a protein treatment. No hate just advising! ❤❤

Hey Lovely💗 thank you for sharing! We know about the scientific finding that eggs proteins don’t absorb into the hair shaft. However, even with this scientific information, this does not render eggs useless in natural hair care products, and it doesn’t mean our product isn’t a protein treatment, as other main ingredients in our protein treatment are proven to deeply penetrate the hair shaft and strengthen and fortify the hair from within. From our decade of experience working with natural hair, and helping thousands heal their hair and scalp issues using herbalist and DIY remedies, we’ve found that eggs are extremely beneficial for natural hair. Because of this research that we’ve conducted in the field, we do not prescribe to the scientific finding that egg proteins don’t absorb into the hair shaft(and therefore shouldn’t be used), because despite that information, eggs yield many benefits for hair health & growth. While our product may not be scientifically-backed, according to the research you mentioned, it is anecdotally and historically backed by elders in our community who used eggs for their hair care when growing up, our customers, clients and local community, as well as our subscribers and online family!💕 Additionally, we deem our product a protein treatment not because of whether or not the egg proteins absorb into the hair, but because of the benefits the proteins in eggs and the other ingredients in the products yield for hair. The product works so well because of the proteins in the eggs and the oils we use - some proteins absorb and strengthen the hair shaft, some proteins don’t and protect the outside of the hair shaft from damage from free radicals. The multiple proteins in our product work together to create a well-rounded, protein-based natural hair care product that helps to grow, strengthen, thicken, lengthen, moisturize and fortify natural hair. I hope this clears up any confusion! I’ll be happy to answer any more questions or concerns you may have about the product. Thank you so much for voicing your concern and advice💕 God Bless You and Have a Wonderful Natural Hair Care Journey.

Hi again! Thank you for clarifying, I am aware and completely agree with your statements. Yes, the protein itself may not penetrate but the ingredients within it contains a good amount of cysteine- an amino acid, niacin, etc, that holds sulfur-strengthening the disulfide bonds in the hair aka protein overtime, since it’s not as strong as hydrolyzed proteins, as they are meant to stay within the hair for a while longer (all protein treatments except henna are temporary). I only assumed your product was claiming to be a solidified protein treatment using the protein in eggs in and of itself, as many protein treatments label themselves. I did not mean to make it seem that there weren’t any benefits to this treatment as it truly does.☺️ Nonetheless it’s a great anti breakage product. Thank you for responding, may the Lord bless you dear!! 💜💜

The “Braid test.” Thought only I called it that!🤣👍🏾 Edit: “Breakage” and “Shedded Hair?” Of course you know that “Shedding” is a natural-process? Hair sheds, and it is supposed to. How much will vary. It is a key part of the Growth Cycle. After a Protective-style; absolutely! But also just in general. There were a couple of times during your trim; you referred to what I, and what is considered “natural shedding” as “breakage?” Was a bit confusing. Or am I misunderstanding what you consider “breakage?”

I absolutely appreciate this video! How do you know how often to trim? I'm sure it depends.
@sislaysandazetv

Hey Lovely!! Thanks so much for tuning in, we’re happy this helped. It definitely does depend on how well you keep your ends protected. For example, if you’re a wild sleeper and your bonnet/scarf tends to end up on the other side of the bed when you wake up, we’ll, you’re gonna have to trim more often because your ends, the most fragile part of your hair, was exposed to a lot of friction during the night, causing fraying and breakage. And this also applies to ppl who wear their hair out more often, wears their hair out during harsh weather, wears their hair out around smokers or live in areas with a lot of pollution. Their ends will need to be trimmed more often because their hair is being exposed to drying/damaging conditions more often. For me, I do a pretty Ok job with keeping my ends protected, so I only trim when there’s noticeable single strand knots/fraying/uneven ends on my hair. This leads me to trimming once or twice a year. I hope this helps Lovely 💕
