I went to a tiny state park! This last summer I spent the night at Washington’s smallest recreational State Park. We all know of the big National Parks - Yosemite at 759,630 acres, Yellowstone with 2.2 million acres - but what about our little state parks? At just ONE acre in size, and only accessible by human-powered watercraft, I discovered Posey Island and decided to visit this tiny State Park to see what made it worthy of a protected status. Bonus challenge: I’ve never kayak camped before!
