I'm pretty sure that this is the one where afterwards the guy works enough to buy his own car and then the brother steals it takes it for joyride but crashes it and then the dude sues him I think

The sad thing is this guy will grow up with real horrible psychological problems even though he will know how to be independent he will end up being more depressed and find it hard to do simple things because of not having structure and support in life.

I have 2 doctorates, three masters, and a bachelors degree. I'm the only one of 12 kids (my stepdad came with four daughters) to get into college. When my mom died, she left everything to my sisters. My twin sister blew through the 300k she inherited in less than a year. My youngest sister, who just turned 18, has already spent half of it, and she only gained access a month ago. And all of the money my 11 sisters have spent, was on things like designer label clothes, and new cars. My stepdad, who has dementia, changed his will after his diagnosis, when he still had medically approved cognizance. Hes leaving everything to my children. Because he knew if he left it to me, my sisters would complain, and have a viable claim in court if they wanted. My mother called me a disappointment a week before she died, and she made me power of attorney, both medical and estate, while leaving me nothing.

Go ask women about dealing with "A gift from God". One, you will not feel so alone. Secondly, you may find some wonderfull coping mechanisms for those times you have to bide a bane of existance. Joking aside, go low contact, find your band of good people as your family of choice and live the best life ever.

I’m just gonna summarize what happens next. OP doesn’t like that fact their brother is flaunting the car so OP decides to save up money to get a car of their own. One of the friends parents owns a car dealership and they help OP get a car that is even better than the brother’s car. OP parks their car in the drive way of the house and leaves the keys to it on their desk. Brother complains that OP’s car is better than his, but since it was bought with OP’s money the parents can’t do anything about it. When OP wakes up in the morning their car is gone and so is the brother. Later, the brother shows up and oth bumpers are missing and one of the windows is cracked. Brother says that the car deserved a better driver but that it just started falling apart. Brother says that OP got scammed. Op yells that their brother stole their car and crashed it because of jealousy. Parents take brother’s side. mother asked if brother was okay while dad told OP they couldn’t accuse their brother of this. The brother said they didn’t crash it and you should believe the word of family. OP states that he clear stole the car. Parents say he only ‘borrowed’ it. OP figured that something like this might happen because of golden child so they had put a camera inside the car. OP calls the cops and shows them the video. Queue horrified parents and arrested brother. Sorry if it a bad summary.

My father left my older brother an extra $200k because he felt guilty for ruining brother’s life. How you might ask 🤔 They had me. 😢 I do not know quite how to unpack that. Dad passed a couple weeks after telling me this.
