#DENTAA #ClaudiaLumor #DIASPORAtransition
After many years of celebrating the diaspora and interviewing prominent diasporans, we have decided to set up the Diaspora Transition. The Diaspora Transition Network is a membership-based network for African Diasporans and returnees of various heritage currently residing in Ghana. This network will be a community for information sharing, skills exchange, cultural awareness, and a space for doing and discussing business. The Network will consist of quarterly meetings and social events to build a community of like-minded professionals. To be part of this initiative,

Courageous. Loyal. Ambitious. Understanding. Diligent. Innovative. Artistic. That’s just the tip of the iceberg of who Claudia Lumor is.
Claudia Lumor is the visionary and mastermind behind the ever-growing Glitz Africa brand. Being very passionate about Africa, every project she conceives is inspired by the desire to change the African narrative to one of opportunities, diversity and growth.
Equally being an ardent advocate of maternal health and child welfare, Claudia in her role as Goodwill Ambassador of UNFPA goes out of her way to support women and children in vulnerable situations to make their lives better.
Claudia loves discovering and collaborating with young and hungry creatives especially in the fashion industry so that together, Ghana’s history-in-the-making in the fashion world would continue to be written with passion and hope for the better.
Fierce in the face of obstacles, she sees every setback as an opportunity to regroup and come back stronger in her pursuits. Thanks to her faith in God and her determination, the Glitz brand stands as strong as ever.
She worked at Santander Bank UK and later moved to Ghana to work with Stanbic Bank in 2010. Lumor was named amongst the speakers of WomanRising, a network for women entrepreneurs. The event featured five women in entrepreneurship: Kafui Danku, Deloris Frimpong Manso, Ekow Mensah, Vera Osei-Bonsu and Cynthia Quarcoo. She was included in the list of 50 young Chief executive officers in Ghana by Avance Media and The YCEO.
On the Diaspora Transition, she talks about her migration to Ghana and her motivation for NOT raising her kids in GANG-infested communities in the UK..
