This is the very first "Owner's Report" of the 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, which provides a different perspective compared to the reviews done previously through "media test drives" - because those reviews were based on pre-production models. Automotive Engineer David Chao was the first person to accurately predict the design and technical features of the 2022 Tundra TRD Pro more than a year ago, and so it's appropriate that he has become the first person to actually buy the Tundra TRD Pro here in Canada.
David has found some "defects" already but he's also very impressed by the improvements made when comparing this production version to the pre-production models he has driven before. One of the peculiar defects, though, is the "backward D" on the TRD Pro emblem on the hood. This is the best Tundra TRD Pro yet. Please subscribe as David will be bringing weekly updates on his experience with the Tundra TRD Pro. This is Owner's Report Episode 1.
Automotive Press is owned and managed by David Koichi Chao, a global expert in the field of automotive evaluation, consulting, and strategy.
