Here are the products I use daily, which are safe for pregnancy:
1. CeraVe Moisturizer: Keeps my skin hydrated and strengthens the skin barrier. Safe for pregnancy.
2. CeraVe Vitamin C Serum: Helps brighten my skin and reduce pigmentation safely. Safe for pregnancy.
3. CeraVe Eye Cream: Moisturizes and protects the delicate skin around my eyes. Ensure it does not contain retinol.
4. AZCLEAR Azelaic Acid: Effectively reduces hyperpigmentation and melasma spots. Safe for pregnancy.
5. La Roche-Posay Tinted Sunscreen: Provides sun protection and evens out skin tone without harsh chemicals. Safe for pregnancy.
Ingredients to Avoid During Pregnancy:
1. Retinol and Retinoids: These Vitamin A derivatives can be harmful to the developing fetus.
2. Salicylic Acid: High doses are not recommended due to potential risks to the baby.
3. Hydroquinone: This skin-lightening agent is not recommended due to its high absorption rate and potential risks.
4. Chemical Sunscreens with Oxybenzone and Octinoxate: These chemicals can be absorbed into the bloodstream and may be harmful.
