One of the best short films showcasing this fabulous creature I've seen. Great photography very sensitively shot together with a real passion for wildlife on Mull. Look forward to more of the same!

Nice Otter video, I am a Wildlife guide on Skye and they are the top of the list for my clients' everyday spent with these animals is magic but they are so easily disturbed and like solitude, Skye is so busy and they frequently get daily disturbed by kayak groups and noisy people!

Beautiful video Roxy,you are definitely in the perfect job,baby Otters 🤷😂 there is always more we can be doing to protect their habitat,I live in Orkney which has quite a lot of them and is encouraging,sadly there are always a few that die on the roads as they cross to get to Lochs,Sea.

Wonderful video - thanks so much! The octopus shot especially was stunning. One small request for next time; might it be possible for the background music to be quieter/ not there all the time? I have ADHD and can't filter sounds easily; the music kept distracting me and made it hard to follow what you were saying. I suspect viewers with ASD (autism) might find this difficult too.

Otters decimate fish numbers. Otters sport kill fish that lead to the hungry Bear. Dirty little secret otter lovers don't want you to know. Many Bear attacks in the Alaska, USA and Canada because of otters sport killing fish. Bears wake up from hibernation with very little fish to eat. The Otters' time was before the 1800's when multitudes of fish for all. Sea otters decimate fish, crab, squid, and oyster populations near the sea coasts. Now otters belong in a controlled exhibit or extinct. If you want river fish for bears you can't have otters.

who are you to decided that all those animals you listed, especially bears, are more important than otters. Many animals engage in surplus killing whether it be for sport or population/species-control like dolphins, orcas, wolves, BROWN BEARS, minks and especially humans.
@yetimelly523

@@VictorGonzalez-vb1gt Again Sea and River Otters time has past. They are sport killers. Bears eat a portion of a fish, then the birds eat the rest. Bears eat portions of game and the smaller animals feed after. Bears feed alot of other animals. Minks eat bees and can kill chickens, cats and dogs. Minks are dangerous. Dolphins and Orcas haven't sport killed anything. Otters will sport kill fish in an area and stay until the dead fish are rotted and attack anything that gets close to it. So I've explained my reasons why. I dont get to decide. It's my opinion from being in the wild. We have laws to protect species in the west. Most species have gone extinct due to reproduction issues not humans.

The U.K. otter is now protected by British law due to it being persecuted and almost hunted to the point of extinction.

Humans kill. More fish than otters and everything else through consumption and pollution .. fact
