Loved the honesty of the x armed robber- so very rare. Good on him. So sorry for the mother, the passion in her voice should make us all wake up.

Unfortunately, whilst I feel terrible for the mother- the culture surrounding young black men glorifies this behaviour- and any discussion around it is considered 'racist'

Correct. Doesn’t matter what country either. Brazil. America. England. Germany. Jamaica. Doesn’t matter. Wherever they are, there is massive amounts of violence.

Its internalised racism, notice that all the countries mentioned have a bad history of slavery or racism. There is no epidemic of young black men killing each other in african countries with no european settlers. You have to look at the wider society to understand why some black people hate eachother.

Parents also need to take some responsibility, too many of them are allowing the streets to raise their children. Like this ladies son, most young men are not involved in knife/gun violence.

The criminal justice system is an absolute joke in the uk. If you carry a knife then use a knife thats murder not manslaughter. So many people see prison as a badge of honour and somethig to be respected its insane. When i was 17 i joined the british army all my friends went o prison a year later for gbh.But when i come home on leave they were like bro prison this and prison that. Even though i was an infantry soldier they actually thought that i was a sellout and tried to demean me by saying all i did was peel potatoes. Some of them are dead now the rest are either homless or in prison.Sad really.

They need parents, blacks suffer from broken families thanks to decades of left wing politics, incentivising the break up of family and teen pregnancy by financing single mothers, often more so than what a black man could earn
