Surfskates can often draw a lot of attention due to their unique appearance. There are days when I simply want to skate without standing out too much. This is a solution I came up with, for those moments when I prefer to blend in, and I thought I'd share it, in case someone else feels the same way at times.
Disclaimer: I'm presenting this DIY quick fix in a light and humorous way. Please don't take it too seriously.
Camouflaging might not be the ultimate solution to avoid being called a kook, but I use this hack as a funny and temporary escape when I just want to skate in peace, while this drama is going on. If this hack can encourage someone to keep riding a surfskate instead of putting it away, I'll consider it a mission accomplished.
Although there’s absolutely no shame in being a surfskater, I, too, enjoy going unnoticed on a regular skateboard sometimes and don't always want to stand out.
I don't consider a popsicle shape to be optimal for surfskating, but there's still plenty of fun to get out of this Street Cat.
This StreetCat can be born out of any regular popsicle deck, and anyone can bring it to life with just a few tools
I'm just trying to help. I know I didn't invent anything here, and I'm presenting this quick DIY fix in a light and humorous way. Please don't take it too seriously.
Take that, haters ;)
