Here I (Tanis Leonhardi; she/her/hers; of Seattle) talk through the Kristóf Milák (of Hungary), 100 metre butterfly race at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France (time of 49.90 seconds in the final on Saturday 3 August 2024). With his time he achieved 1st place. I provide my take/perspective on his performance and contextualize it in terms of rebounding from a silver medal in the 200 metre butterfly to a gold medal in this event.
In addition to watching the broadcast I mention in the video I watched the race on the West Coast branch of the television channel Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in the Seattle area (CBUT) after filming this video (delayed/prime-time broadcast same-day).
