I'm not really a comment person, but the last part of your video made me tear up. When you said your early twenties are the years when you learn more about life I felt such a sadness because I was 20 when the pandemic started, I'm about to turn 23 and I feel like I lost so much time, so many activities that I wanted to do, so many plans, so many dreams, and I don't know if I'll ever recover from everything that I didn't get to try because of covid. And it hit me because people had told me so many times "well, at least you weren't in high school during the pandemic" or "at least you weren't working in a job you loved" or "at least you weren't a child who hasn't been to the park to play for the first time", but how do I explain that this years of growing and learning make me feel like I'm already failing in life just because I didn't get a chance to try more. Love you were able to find your dream at an age where most of us feel lost, hope soon enough I can find my dream too and this times can be put behind us. Much love. (Sorry, english is not my first language, so if there is any grammar errors, I apologize)

I can’t believe it’s been 9 years! I still remember coming home from secondary school and watching all your videos from around the time you were in Les Mis! So interesting hearing about the process as well, as someone who hasn’t gone to drama school but still holds out a fraction of hope that maybe one day I’ll make acting a full time job, this was nice to hear!❤️

I remember seeing you in Les Mis in 2013, in June, just a couple of days after West End Live. I got the very last ticket available about three hours before the show! It was the start of Something with a capital S because I’ve now seen the show 30 times, in three different countries (England, Sweden, Norway), three different languages (English, Swedish, Norwegian), four different cities (London, Karlstad, Jönköping, Oslo), and five different theatres (Queen’s before the renaming, Gielgud, Wermland Opera, Spira, and Folketeateret). So thank you for sparking that Something!

its crazy to hear that it has been 9 years since you started at Les Mis. I've been following you since around 2012. I would have been about 11 years old. I am now turning 21 in a couple of weeks. I am now doing my Bachelor of Music at uni, And truth be told, I don't know if I would be the same person today if I hadn't had forced my teacher to let me sing On My Own when I was like 16 because I wanted to be just like you. I'm seeing my first actual production of Les Mis in February and I am so excited to actually see the whole show. since I'm in Australia, I kind of just had to wait until it came back up somewhere and finally it has haha. All that to say that I'm so proud to see how you have grown over the years and hopefully I will be able to make it over to England and be able to see you in something one day.

2013 was the year I was studying abroad in the UK, and although I hadn't ever seen or read anything about Les Miserables, I knew you'd just started playing Eponine, and I just thought, 'well, I think I'll go check it out then'. And I'm so glad I did! Les Mis is, until this day, the greatest art performance I've seen live, by far. I was at the theatre by myself, so my attention was 100% directed to the musical, and it just kept me on the edge of my seat for the whole three-hour (did I get it right? It's been nearly 10 years now!) spectacle. And, you know, adult Eponine doesn't show up right at the start of the show, so in the first moments I was a bit worried I'd bought tickets for the wrong play, or something, 'cause Carrie just wasn't there! hahah It was so great seeing you perform, you killed it! It just felt like you were a good friend of mine, I felt so proud! I guess that's what youtube vlogging is all about, isn't it. Didn't get to see you at the stage door for some reason, but it wasn't a big deal for me anyway. Haven't seen a Carrie video in years, but this is such a fond memory for me, that I just had to watch and share this comment.

It’s things like this that make me want to work in Theater in some form the rest of my life. I love performing and I love being a collaborator on art, but I definitely suffer from imposter syndrome a lot as well. If I go for my Masters in Speech Language Pathology(currently have my Bachelors in Communication Disorders), a real niche that I could fit into would be working with Broadway/West End/professional shows as a Vocal health specialist. Like, I’d have been able to help keep you healthy when you were going 8000% every show and prevent you from being wrecked by your day off. For now, I’ll stick with performing with my chorus in amazing venues and taking dance and voice lessons.

Carrie, I don't know if you will see this comment, but I saw you in Les Mis in July of 2015. I was sitting in the balcony house left. I was already enamored by the show, but when you sang On My Own, I was on the edge of my seat. And 13 year old me, with tears streaming down her face, decided right then and there that she wanted to try out for the school musical the next year. I had never sung or acted before, but I worked that entire year, and I got the part of Jane Banks in Mary Poppins at school my first year of high school. Since then, I decided to go to drama school, I am going to graduate this year and already have a few auditions lined up for after I graduate. Thank you for the 13 year old girl you inspired, and to all the other girls you have inspired along the way. So thank you so much.

Also, from one book worm to another, I just finished re-reading “This Present Darkness”, and holy cow it is a must read! I’m not sure if you are religious at all, as it is a book about spiritual warfare and angels and demons, but the writing and multiple plot lines are exquisite.
