I haven’t read Circe yet. But I *think* I like the Odyssey more than the Iliad…I used to think that the Iliad would be more enjoyable to me than the Odyssey, but then I read the latter a couple years ago (or was it last year?) and found it to be really enjoyable too!

Stephen King is an autobuy author for me. Ive read everything except his Gun Slinger series. I love his new stuff, definitely a different feel than the classic horror he used to write. OG King is amazing. It’s too bad most of his movies are crap 😂. I’d love a series of The Stand.

The Ophidian by Daryl McKenzie is a really good read that you should check out. It stars a black protagonist who finds himself in a weird reality. Read the sample. You'll know right away if you'd like to read it. It doesn't have any reviews as of yet, but it is scary as Hell.

I remember going to see Jurassic Park in theaters when it first came out when I was a kid. I remember just being blown away, it was probably the first movie to do that to me. I just read the book about 4 years ago, the book is a thousand times better than the movie. But they are two completely different things, and can be enjoyed as two completely different things.

I also have ADHD. I can't listen to audiobooks unless I'm playing a video game or busy doing something else. One thing that helps me read is listening to instrumental music with headphones on - Spotify has a lot of great playlists for reading, and they're not instrumental versions of popular songs, which helps me to not get distracted.

@@CameronForresterAs the other commenter said, I think audiobooks are a great tool. Even if you're just going to take a shower or go for a walk, take 10 minutes to listen to something. If I don't have free time, I listen to mine on the weekends while I'm working (I'm able to though) or when I shower or walking the dog, or even a quick read/listen before bed, etc. It can be hard to find time.

@@geritisdale-brock7247yeah, ambient sounds definitely help as well, or white noise, or the other variety of color noises help as well.. I hate saying, brown noise, because it’s suggestive (methane gas) if you know what I mean lol I also have adhd so the sounds help a lot with focus.

I’ve got 35 Stephen King books, read 15 so far (I started reading 3 years ago, similar to your “late start” - it’s never too late) and I’ve already got these two but haven’t read them yet, sooooo looking forward to both! And I’ve had “The Song od Achilles” on my “maybe-list” for years, couldn’t decide if I wanted to read it at all, so your recommendation is the kick I needed to persuade myself to finally get it (I’ll buy it tomorrow!), read it whenever… “Tender is the Flesh” was gory and creepy in an awesome way, too! I agree with whatever you say, always haha P.S. You’re not very good at hiding stuff, I got the title of the book you hesitated to show (The Memoirs of a Shy…), saw Pet Sematary sometime during the video, recognized the Achilles cover straight away… But nevermind that, awesome video anyway!! Loved it, keep it up 🙌🏻💖
