Nice selection. I tried a couple of Furys, a couple years back, and now own 9 of them. Arguably, the nicest $130 rod, on the market. No reason to spend more

Nice line up man! I only got 5 dobyns rods myself cuz I fish from the bank FR733c FR795SB SA734c DC735C DX746c Currently have a broken guide on the Sierra and on the DX but man that champion 735 is unreal. I can’t put it down. Recently I’ve been catching a lot of flounder out here in Texas on 3/8oz jig head with small paddletail and ohhh man.

Dobyns rods. I have one “Cult” series and one “Fury” series. I have been extremely impressed with these two. I am looking to swap out two other rods to continue with Dobyns. Thanks for the awesome video my man.

So I’m all the same but just Fury & Sierra just as a co angler I can’t justify a expensive rod especially since ours get so beat up.

I dont know about champ xp carbon but the Xtasy blank is made out Toray T1100 carbon which is widely used from Gary loomis (NFC) to many japanese companies such as Olympic, Evergreen, Nissin, Daiwa, Shimano etc.

I just purchased the 744c Kaden series looking to use it as my do all, what reel would you recommend? I have a $300 budget.

Probably a curado 200k, I don’t have experience with the new curado 150mgl but I feel like that would also be another great option.

@@damstovepipe1190 - i was in the same boat in regards to reels! $300 was my initial limit! However, During my research, i discovered that the JDM reels were super affordable because of the devalued Yen! Long-story-short i purchased a Metanium MGL 150 and a Scorpion DC for about $450 combined! Now, i just have to secure some decent rods…

@@damstovepipe1190 - Digitaka has been good for me! Keep in mind, that there is no taxes levied on the sale and that shipping is insanely quick (less than a week from Japan)! For example a JDM Metanium DC sales for $336 on Digitaka as compared to $499 + tax at US sources. That’s slightly over a $200 difference (enough to buy a JDM Scorpion DC)!

Just got my son a fury 7,1” medium for $129 going to see how it stacks up to my st Croix legend tournament bass. Messing with it in the house seems to have the same medium power. Guides are a cheaper look alike Fuji so we will see how they hold up. I don’t understand why rod makers don’t just use Fuji guides on everything and charge the little more they cost I think anyone would justify the small added expense and quality
