700NM is the 'official' limit for the 8HP70 (The '70' refers to 700NM). Hence, Land Rover had to artificially limit the torque output of the 4.4 TDV8 to sit at 700NM. However, they have been successfully proved out to hold out at much higher torque levels, mainly by the BMW diesel tuning community.

The frontrunner rack *does not* bolt directly to the mounting points, it needs drilling. I'm guessing you bought yours second hand (I think you mentioned this in an earlier video?) and it'd already been drilled, but you do need to drill a new mounting point to bolt it onto the existing holes! Very curious about the EGF and DPR mods you've maybe or maybe not done... ;)

I think you misunderstand, I mean it picks up on the 6 factory M8 holes in the RR's roof, so no drilling *of the roof* required, or any clamps etc.

@@SamsMotors Gotchya, yes, but if you’re drilling the roof rails then it doesn’t matter where the factory mounting points are as you’re drilling them to suit, right? :) I just wanted to make sure people knew they would need to drill the roof rack to make it fit, it’s not just plug and play.
