Great videos, thanks. I hope you are going to post some more. I just got a trillium that needs a bit of work.

Thank you for making these videos. There are very few "how-to" videos on the Trillium. Keep them coming please! Cheers.

I indeed will! I have my windows in my dining room, taking one at a time apart, cleaning, then putting back together - a slow process. There’s 5 of them, so I’ll likely film window #3 (as I hope to have the process figured out by then 😂)

Thanks! I probably won’t get to the fiberglass until Spring since I don’t have an indoor space to work on it 😞

Excellent detail in these videos. Thank you so much for producing them. We just purchased a 78 Trillium with many leaks. We live in the rainy state of Washington will need to redo the windows. Can we hire you to redo ours?

That's why I did the video...so if anyone asks, "Hey, can you do mine," I can just say, "go watch the video." 😄 Seriously though, thank you for the compliment - but, I'm in CO, so probably can't help out. Also, I should add this, it's not difficult, just tedious.

Thanks for this, am looking forward to next instalment. Enjoyed ur dentistry story, haha! Are there other online resources you use? Especially looking forward to process of removing trailer from frame. Don’t leave anything out! I don’t have a garage and have to wait through the winter before starting the work

I mainly rely on the Facebook group, but have also peeked at fiberglassrv.com - but I find that forum a bit confusing to use (and I end up spending more time reading about a fix than actually doing it). I’m discovering if I just get over the fear of starting…and actually start…then most of the projects aren’t difficult, they’re just a new endeavor. A little common sense (along with good tools) can go a long way.

@@CampBoulder yah I have been on there extensively since 2 weeks and find a lot of really committed great people but the interface is very dated and I spend a lot of time trying to figure out where stuff is….thanks for ur KZitem and a few others, i am a visual learner and this makes it easier for me.

Hey Paul Tom and Nebraska Why did you have to take out those metal plates from the belly band?
@CampBoulder

Hey Tom! The bolts are notorious for rusting, and as they rust, they expand and begin to warp the fiberglass. A popular fix is to remove the bolts, then fill the gap with fiberglass, sand smooth and paint.

We’re I actually having leak problems, or did u just think this is something that should be done at some point anyways?

There was evidence of leaky windows

You made quick work of those metal plates with the proper tools! Makes it look so easy....haha. Have you got an indoor space to continue your work over winter? (Anne-Marie LaPointe from the FB Trillium page.)

Sadly, no. My garage has a low opening. However, I’m planning to separate the fiberglass and the trailer, then move the trailer inside to work on it (lots of rust, needs new stabilization jacks, etc).
