Having anything about the philippines are very rare for some reason, well outside the country ofcourse. The Philippines is where I was born and I still live HERE, so this really caught my eye, I was expecting fanbased shet when I searched "creepypasta". Philippines is a place where anything can happen , just like every country. No, there are NO Unicorns or Faries or stuff. My countryhome is a place of mysteries, and again, just like (probably) other countries. BUT IT'S GREAT! IF you are a paranormal vlogger that is. But you could stay away from FORESTS and scary places that have scary legends. But at least you have a vid! I guess... VISIT AGAIN! BUT IN A RESORT OR BEACH THAT IS VERY POPULATED AREA THAT HAS AMZING HOTELS AND AMAZING SCENERY AND WHITE SANDS!

This sounds like any given Filipino story I've heard shared by anybody from the province. Mostly because it's all true ;) I may seem like I'm joking but anybody who's been to the province or lived there, especially near a mountain, has had an experience like this. I had an experience with a manananggal when I was eight. It was chilling. My mother had creatures living in their old house's water tank, who would wander the halls as tiny pitch black child like figures at night. She wasn't allowed to step out into the hall when they were there, but from what I understand they blessed the house, so nothing was done to get rid of them.

Creeps!! Finally a story about the Philippines!! Those freaking things are real, man. My mother has told us all the story about a particularly stormy night over Dumaguete, and how lightning and thunder roared and crackled, and how one superstitious radio host warned of the impending arrival of these monsters under cover of the storm. The following day, the remnants of what was only concluded to be the leathery, wrinkly remains of an organic wing were found tangled up in some power lines. There was evidence of a very hot, localized strike of energy on the fleshy sheet, as if struck by lightning. The following few days, there was a spike in unexplained miscarriages... Here's another short one I'd like to share from my experience in the Philippines last I was there with my mother, sister and brother in law and their kids, visiting our side of the family in Dumaguete. We stayed for a little over month, and since I had just turned 18, my sister and brother in law and cousins took me out drinking a few nights. One of the nights we were coming home, it had begun to poor down rain. Anyone who's been there knows when it rains, it RAINS. So we're driving home in the family car , my brother cousin and I in the back seats and sister is up front with our designated driver. It's pitch dark out where there are no street lights and visibility even worse with the rain, but we come across this girl standing on the side of the road in the rain with no coat or umbrella, so being good guys, we pull over and offer the girl a lift home. She thanks us profusely and get into the one open mid seat next to my cousin, and we think nothing of the girl, ask her where she lives, and start taking her home. She was actually rather pretty, wearing a thick white dress with silky raven hair and big Brown eyes. She didn't talk much, but there was something my brother in law and I noticed about her a few minutes into the ride... She was.. Dry. Not she had gotten dry in the short time spent in our heated car, I mean she was bone dry. Her hair was smooth and well kept and dry, not dripping at all where it should've been soaked through. Shit, we were all soaked just from the traverse from the bar to the car, my long hair still sopping, even, from how hard it was raining. Her white dress was the same, completely and utterly dry like it was fresh out of the cleaners, and my cousin started to notice this too as she was sitting right next to him. The dress didn't cling to her body like it would if wet, and of course you couldn't see through it. This mysterious girl had been standing out in the pouring storming rain for who knows who long, and from the moment the she got into our car she was 100 percent dry. By the time the three of us had both realized this and subtly communicated to one another that we had noticed, we were nearing her destination. We pulled up to a derelict but large looking house, two stories with many room windows visible from the front, and a long drive way leading up to it with two brick pillars that appeared to have been for housing a gate. It certainly would've been an upper class Filipino house, had it not looked so... Abandoned. None the less, we drive up the driveway and stop in front of the house, where the girl then thanked us and got out of the car. We all watched as she walked up to the old, faded door, and still did not get a drop of water on her. Not a single droplet of rain disturbed her hair, clothing, or skin. She pulled what I could only perceive as an old skeleton key from her clutch, and casually unlocked the door. She disappeared into the darkness of the house, and shut and locked the door. We waited. We waited to see if perhaps a light would come on, or we'd see her in one of the upstairs windows to a bedroom, looking at us in further gratitude. Nothing happened. The house stayed pitch dark and desolate, and not a sound could be heard save for the idling of our car and the violent battering of the fat, Filipino rain atop our roof. We all just sat there and stared, unable to make sense of what had just happened. We turned around and started back down the drive way and on our way home. I looked back and saw the house still sitting there in complete darkness and silence. We didn't say anything on the way home. When we got home, we were again soaked from the traverse from our car to our house, so we rushed inside and went to our respective rooms to dry off and change our clothes. I went into the conjoined bathroom, washing my face with warm water. I peered into the mirror, again pondering the girl and what had happened. That's when I heard the words I'll never forget. "I never liked the rain." immediately startled, my head popped up and I saw her. The girl. Just standing behind and next to me, in the mirror. Smiling politely like she had been when she thanked us. Not threatening just.. There. Still I yelped In fear and my mind processed quickly, and my first reflex was to splash the water in the sink onto the mirror, and promptly spin around to see the girl behind me. Only she wasn't anymore. She disappeared as quickly as she appeared, and all that was left was the water I had carelessly splashed sliding down the mirror's surface and back into the sink. Shocked at what just happened, I took several more minutes to collect myself. I still stared into the mirror, almost waiting for her to return. But never did I see or hear her again besides there on the street and there in my relatives' house. We never found out anything about her or the house, but since she didn't seem inherently malicious, and definitely didn't seem like the widely feared White Lady legend, I theorize from what I experienced that she was a victim of sorts, maybe looking for a ride in the rain and ended up getting picked up by the wrong person, or maybe there was some issue her family had had with someone, probably having been wealthy judging by the house, and by proxy involved with shady people. Either way, it happened, and it only reinforced my belief in the supernatural, being in such close proximity to such things both here in the states and back home. That's probably my best personal supernatural story, but I hope it gets someone's juices going! Definitely gets mine when I think about it...

I love hearing stories about urban legends, ghosts, and other entities from the Philippines. When i traveled to the Philippines, my fiance told me many stories such as the Manananggal, aswang, tiyanak, and some other earth spirit that you have to apologize when you pee on the ground ( i forget, something my fiance told me to do before i peed on the ground). She sure did have a lot of fun scaring me when we visited family on Mongpong island.

best thing to do is always be respectful of other cultures. there's truth in all of the legends (no disrespect meant) or otherwise people wouldn't prepare for them. we all want our personal beliefs respected & so therefore we should always be respectful of others. great story & emphasizing how the people were being respectful to another culture.

This is a true story not some bullshit copy paste shit, back then I used to live in a small house just next to my grandparents, what's weird with this house is that a lot of animals die here for no reason. There's a really REALLY large tree right next to my grand parent's house with many vines and bugs I'd say it's even bigger than my grandparent's house and their house is as tall as a mansion. Anyway after a few years we had to sell the house to make money and because there was a huge argument and fight between my family members, A few years after we moved we had news of one of the residents in our old house, He died of unknown reasons no scratches, no scars, no bullet wounds, doctors say it wasn't even strangled to death! I think the tree had something to do with it...It was so unnaturally large it dwarfed the houses in my neighborhood and also one time my cousin stayed next to the three for a long time and he suddenly got a cold. There were lots of bats that used to gathered around the tree at every night too but there were no fruits there so there was no reason for those bats to be there...I believe there is a Vampire living in that tree, what do you think?

I'm unsure on whether you're a Filipino or not but-- Commonly, huge trees with many vines and bugs that are believed to have certain spirits residing in them are balete trees. Better to respect the house and its dwellers or consequences may occur. Perhaps the person who died had done something to anger the spirit/s? Sometimes, those spirits--or even creatures, now that we think about it--greatly dislike the people reside in their territory so they mess around with items or curse you. It depends. And a vampire/aswang is possible? I mostly heard of other creatures residing in those instead. It could be a lot of them live there considering how huge you say the tree is. Not sure cutting it down is a good option considering how that tree sounds very old. That and those trees are good for the environment.

The Philippines is a very old country, its people, history, and stories go extremely way back in time. I personally don’t 100% believe in these old legend stories, but there is a part of me who does... and that is because when I was 6 years old, my aunt was pregnant with her very first born, my little niece, who is now 9 years old. My uncle wasn’t in the country at the time as he was working abroad in Dubai. So I slept with my aunt beside her every night till my uncle arrived back from Dubai, just in time for the birth of my niece... but ever since my aunt was declared pregnant, we did have garlic hanging from all the windows of the room, and salt on the stairs leading up towards the second floor of the house... and rosaries around both mine and aunt’s wrist. and a bible... which was both blessed by the priest by our town’s Catholic Church... I grew up listening to these old tales which is passed down by hundreds of generations old... and as I’ve said before, I never really 100% believe in these... but I was scared... and till this day, the 50% of me who believe in these old stories, is terrified... ever since my aunt was declared pregnant, noises from our roof always seem to occur, and sounds of steps as well from the roof top... and we thought it was just a cat... but that cat is probably not actually an ordinary cat... it probably was an Aswang, Mananangal, or as you said in this video, a TikTik... and people say they saw a figurine of some sort on top of our house.... specifically over my aunt’s and I’s room... and this happened until my aunt had given birth... which thank to god... was safe and successful... Our house is pretty big, it’s modern, and tall... so I guess that’s why the monsters weren’t able to get in... but still... it still haunts me... I don’t want to believe in these because it just scares me... but I can never forget those nights when my aunt was pregnant... never...

In all honesty, this story sounds like someone just went and google "Filipino Folklore" and found it on Wikipedia and stitched it in a story in a not very - nice way. Some of it was exaggerated to an extent that it is not scary anymore. I personally haven't seen Bicol myself, but I know it isn't like that there, I much expect Capiz to be in the story instead because there are indeed a lot of creepy weird shit going on in there. Anyway, I like the narrator's voice, brings a lot of creepy vibes. The story ruins it a little though, but great job, man. 👍

not really, he was more likely to be an Engkanto. Aswangs eat unborn fetuses (and they're like a group of monsters rather than a single individual. They could be Manananggals (lit. those who cut, in the day, they're beautiful women but in the night, they rip off their torsos up from their thighs and grow bat wings - the only way to kill them is to find their thighs and put like garlic or salt so when they reattach themselves, they get burned), Ek-ek (no literal translation, Aswangs who have beaks and hunt for unborn fetuses in the night) and the likes

I've been in this Bicol region, it's true that it's pretty rural. We had to sleep in the car since the place did not have a lodge in, atleast around the area we were in. There was three of us in the car, its not the most comfortable place to sleep so I woke up pretty early, around 5 AM. I'm of course at daze, when I look around I notice a child peeking at my window but didn't put much thought to it.I look over to he other side and notice another one. All the windows were closed, of course. There's when I notice we were surrounded by children as if they're observing us in our sleep. As I got up to ask what they're doing, they all moved away giggling and saying stuff I cannot comprehend. I wake the others up and told them what happened, we just decided to brush it off. As I think of it now, I'm pretty sure it's still dark back then, so I still don't know why children would be up by that time. And why would they stand by the door and look at us that way..
