A very short demo for someone putting written directions into practice. I hope this helps.
First I will strum the warp strings because they like to stick together. I put the stick and heddle together and insert the batten into the stick shed. To be certain that the shed is clear and I haven't snagged any extra warp or left any out, I move the stick to be certain that there is no criss cross. I would weave a pick then pull my batten out. For the Pull shed, I raise the stick up out of my way, then pull the heddle out using a rolling motion with my wrist and insert the batten all the way across. I put the batten and stick together to make certain there is a perfect criss cross, this is how I can tell if I snagged any extra warp or left any out. I would then weave another pick.
