I was in my mid 30’s when I got my diagnosis for ADHD. At least now I know why I’ve felt like I was losing my mind most my life. It takes courage to talk about these things. Good on you for bringing to the front a difficult conversation for some. Thank you

As someone who hasn’t been bothered by the back and forth of your channels or content, I can completely understand the effect ADHD has had on you and your KZitem direction. I had ADD / ADHD diagnosed as a kid, have not had it looked at or diagnosed since then but as an adult, I also have issues with focusing on specific tasks without my mind wandering off to the next task or idea. Overall, it doesn’t affect my day to day. Just embrace it man, focus on what you want to and just enjoy it. Life’s too short not to.

This is interesting. When I first watched your channel, I assumed you knew you had the condition, as to me, it was very obvious you did given your 'cup series' was a constant back and forth, but I enjoyed the content nonetheless. I'm glad you've been made aware and been diagnosed now though to work through it!

This is why i follow you. Youre very relatable. I love starting new things and lately I've tried really really hard to stay consistent. Earlier in the year i was really into video games, played and beat spiderman 2, got decent at MK11 and MK1, beat breath of the wild, luigi's mansion 2 and 3. Haven't played much in a while now. im on a chess kick, powerlifting again, picked up guitar again and about to pick up video games again, thinking about finishing god of war ragnarok. I just get into a slup and need something new to get the juices flowing. Ive always been this way as well and didnt think it was adhd until a couple years ago. If i wasnt decent at brute forcing life, id be a homeless mess.

By watching this video... I think I might also have to have conversations bc I think I might also have ADHD. I always am interested in one thing, dive in head first, then 3 weeks later will be like well I am bored of that what is the next thing I can commit to. And so on and so on. The funnier thing is that every 6 months or so, I will reset. And fall back in love with the first thing in the list which I was interested in, and 3 weeks later move onto the same thing I moved onto the last cycle... It is very interesting to say the least. It is even crazier because I know this will happen, but I do it anyway.

Hello, I will give you a tip that might or not help you not get so frustated when you often go back and forth. When you want to do something important in your life always discuss it with someone you are close to(your wife or a close friend) so they can tell you that there are often more options than you can see. I feel like people with ADHD often are very categorical when they want to decide something. For exemple you could have kept your steamdeck and not play it, or give it to your wife so you don't feel tempted to pick it up again, or kept it for a while to see if it really was the source of the problem you were trying to solve. This applies to other things and someone else could help you see another angle of a problem that is not as drastic as what you might have wanted to do. I hope this will help you, take care.

Glad to see you're figuring things out for yourself. Probably a little overwhelming or scary. But you seem pretty well balanced. I enjoy the content, I relate to it, and I will continue to watch. Keep it up man. Also, where can I find the discord link? You mentioned twitch but I may have overlooked it. Also when I say a relate. I mean a lot... I'm erratic with decisions and struggle with commitment to finishing things, to list the worst. And as tempting as it's been, I've remained unmedicated and it's working out great. Your mind is powerful man, utilize it.

I am like you, I went from a ps4 slim which I some how kept for like 4 years with 0 issues to an Xbox series x. I then sold the Xbox series x to my local game shop which were offering more than I paid for it at the time and bought my self a series s. After some time in the series s I went and bought my self another series x and sold my series s. Then I bought a ps5 and sold my series x. I’ve now recently sold my ps5 and bought the 1TB series s and I’m putting my foot down and sticking with it this time. But yes I’m very very impulsive

They told me i had asmtha, sleep apnea and was attention deficit. for each I probably didnt take more than a months worth of prescriptions for. The pills they gave me for the ADD immediatly gave me nerve ticks and i have lived with them since then. it only happens when my body is in pain and the strain from the ticks has damaged my neck over time. My mom always tells me she should have sued the doctor but now hes long passed away. I have lived with it so long it has become natural to me. i dont know how it is to feel pain free and thats just life. in saying all that i just want to let you know to be careful if you choose to seek any treatment. Most of those older forms of meds are no longer available because they were still in a testing phase at the time but you never know. Always get a second and third opinion from multiple clinics. I will straight up go until i crash though. i have to be doing something at all times.

I think it's common to avoid the things we struggle with or have to deal with. Often at a subconscious level. Our body protects us from pain and suffering. Which often just moves the problem. Glad you got more clarity into your own world. Pretty sure I have ADHD too. My mind goes 1000 mph all the time, easily bored, change focus and what I want to do on a dime. Exhausting and ruins coherent progress! Though mine is related to unresolved trauma and health issues. Pretty sure it'll get better as my gut heals and I work out my nervous system and trauma issues. @@jdxcoffee
