I love how your bedroom is exactly what YOU want to be. That's the key. The fact that it works for you is a good enough reason for you to be happy and satisfied. I also love how you "get lost in your own world" while you sit at your desk. That my friend really hit home. BEAUTIFUL room tour and extremely functional space I must say. Great job, as always Nicholas!

I'm starting to be a minimalist because I know that I want this kind of lifestyle but... I can't do it right because everyone is fixing and breaking my peace that made me mad and sad sometimes. Nevermind, it's hard at first but in the end it's worth it. Thank you for this minimalist video, it's so calming. Stay safe.

I've watched many a minimalist youtuber, but I think you've really been the one to push me towards actively reducing the amount of stuff I have. I can tell that this mindset gives you a lot of peace and mental peace. I think the clutter in just my room is starting to overwhlem and maybe it sounds weird, but I'm losing a "sense of self" in all the physical material packed in here. For my New Year's resolution this year, I'm going to try to be more mindful and start cleaning out my room. We're 8 "sections" in, but it's better than 0!

I admire your lifestyle and am into minimalism for a few years too. Since i live in eastern Europe (Latvia) such lifestyle won't help me to save a lot of money but i assume that in USA it is differently - if you are not typical consumer you will have a decent amount saved. So here is my question - how you use unspent money and aprox. how much $ you spend monthly.

I binge-watched your videos a few days ago and saw the old room tour video :D I like the both versions although personally I think this version looks a bit more comfy. The wireless gadgets are 5/5, I also prefer to have those. It's always so fun seeing these types of videos because it makes me feel like sharing a piece of similar joy with someone, since my friends and family aren't as into minimalism as I am. Anyway, good luck with your channel :)

the ONLY differences between us and what we have is instead of plants, i have a gargoyle. Instead of a floor lamp, i have a small desk lamp. The color scheme for mine is dark wood and black metal, with sage green... I DO have a collection of crystals and tarot cards kept in a box, i have pierced ears so i keep my plugs and tunnels in another box, and my desk came furnished with a dresser so my pants and not shirts and hoodies go in there.. BUT OMG, WE HAVE NEARLY THE SAME HANGERS AND I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THAT STATEMENT.

Was about to suggest a robovac bc it seems like a reasonable enrichment for someone who obv has a pet peeve with dust (?) - more efficient than a broom, super convenient, has easy play in a room like yours. But I guess frequent wet wiping with a floor squeegee + rag instead of dry sweeping will do the trick just fine. (Personally couldn't live w/o a vacuum cleaner; even if I would let go of the rugs I have a tick with vacuuming my mattress. 😬)

It’s been 3 yrs that I have really embraced minimalism. For the last 6 -7 yrs I have slept with the mattress on the floor. Which I love. I have finally decided to buy a bed frame because of the same reason of the floor getting dusty and wanted to change it up a bit. My frame arrives this weekend. Let’s see how this goes. Concerning the mattress on the floor -- I moved to a hammock and haven't looked back for about 4 months now. It's easy to fold up in the mornings, easy to wash, way cheaper than a bed, and 3x more comfortable than a bed.

I had my mattress on the floor for several weeks while I waIted for my bed frame to arrive. I told myself it was no big deal to have it there, but in reality, it felt uncomfortable to be so close to the floor. I will give my 61 yr old bones a bed off the floor. Love your bedroom set-up! Very peaceful and minimal without being “harsh”. The light colors, bamboo tones and plants add just the right touch!

I think your set up is great. I appreciate that minimalism is each to their own with regards to what you might find minimalistic, however i think the storage unit is a must. Unless your an ultra minimalist/essentialist who can literally fit their life into a backpack, its the best thing to keep things in check. If you were to move and everything fits into the box, ur onto a winner!
