Thank you so much for being so upfront and honest! I'm going to be 16 weeks tomorrow and my "morning" sickness has been awful from about weeks 7-15. I haven't been sick in 2 days so I'm hoping it's the end of it! I've never felt so lonely. It's almost as if most of my friends have forgotten about me. I'm 30, married and in my final few months of my nursing degree and have never felt so unmotivated. Almost to a point of just wanting to quit my course. But hearing your experience and positivity has really cheered me up. Thank you! X

This has really helped me Dani; I've been watching you on Towie from the beginning and always felt like you were so real and honest. I'm 12 weeks pregnant atm and the sickness is real! All day, all night non stop. So many vlogs and IG show the good side of pregnancy and talk about the glow or how to dress the bump but not many talk about things like you have. Its been so comforting hear someone else has gone through a difficult first trimester and has come out the other side! Thank you!

So relatable.. I’m 32 weeks now and being a hardworking, passionate person and becoming so restricted by your own body is exhausting and overwhelming. You feel so guilty feeling like its not an enjoyable experience because you don’t want people to think you aren’t so grateful that you can carry a baby. I definitely needed this video 🙌🏼xx

Really good to hear someone like you talk about the realness of pregnancy, I am now 33 weeks but I went through what you went through at the start and I got out of it at around 16 weeks! I can definitely relate to you when you say that you don’t want to tell people about it because you don’t want people to know you’re struggling. I found that people didn’t understand how hard it can be at the start due to not having a bump, it definitely gets better💗

I'm now 21 weeks pregnant and still don't feel myself especially with my mood swings it's terrible but watching this video has really helped me. knowing that I'm not the only one who feels this way and like you said it is a very lonely place because it's hard to explain to your partner why you're feeling like this when you don't know yourself 😥 x

All I can say is thank you for your honesty!! - im 19 weeks and I'm so glad you have said this- it was exactly the same for me and I thought I was such a bad person for wanting to feel like my pre-pregnancy self and not being all happy and glowing like everyone said I would be. Being afraid of my body changing and having to go up to town for work feeling awful and having to pretend! so many people make it sound so amazing and its so easy to struggle or feel alone like there something wrong with you. - Congrats on your little one and hugs all round. You go Girl! xxxx

Oh gosh I remember the sickness I could hardly eat anything. I worked full time running a store and it was hard. But I did manage to hide it in the first trimester thankfully. Working and pregnancy was hard and I constantly was tired and felt distracted. But saying that once the baby was here going back to work was ten times harder being completely honest. The thought of spending so much time away from my baby made me feel like my heart was being ripped out, my passion for working just wasn’t as strong as wanting to be with my baby anymore. I stuck at it and ten months later when my girl was 16 month I just had enough, I always thought it would get easier but it never did it got harder I had good days but the guilt was just to much. All I could think about it was how quickly the time passes and that I would blink and she will be in school and I will never get this time back. Thankfully I had the option of working part time and it’s the best thing I have ever done. I think use having your own businesses to your advantage and don’t put pressure on yourself if you can with work commitments right after baby because I can’t even explain how it consumes you in the beginning it’s so intense and incredible xxxxx

This though 💛 I felt this and I’m glad I’ve finally heard someone else talk about it. I was so poorly with sickness throughout my pregnancy it felt I couldn’t talk/vent to anyone. I worked 12 hour days and taking days off wasn’t an option because bills needed paying obviously. I worked with 2 women that we’re struggling to conceive so I was trying my hardest to not complain or be unhappy. I was obviously happy but by heck I was suffering physically and mentally😪 hope you’re pregnancy continues to be good, you’re glowing ☺️

I had such a romanticised vision of pregnancy. I always used to ask my mum if she liked being pregnant and she always said no, I never understood how she could say that. Until I was and I fucking hated every minute of it and the guilt over hating being pregnant was probably worse than hating being pregnant. Obviously I had my moments of loving it and feeling her kick but apart from that it was so tough on my body and my mind, I’m really dreading having my next.
