Thanks for the information and videos. I will be fishing around Pawleys island starting tomorrow. First time there and I was wondering if you could tell me the best place to access the marsh for wade fishing. I will be focused mainly on flounder, thanks

Blaine, sounds fun! I feel like gators and the occasional bull shark keep people out of the water, but with experience, caution, proper timing, weaponry 🤣, etc wading can be awesome! Unfortunately I don’t have exact locales for wading in Pawleys, but if it’s me I’m taking really detailed looks at the marsh closest to place you’re staying right at low tide tomorrow. The tides have been super low and super high lately. So you should be able to see most of the structure at low tide and then come back to fish it once the tide suites you. Flounder have been crushing almost anything I put on a jig or short-length Carolina rig. Live mullet, chunked mullet, live shrimp, and artificial shrimp. Hope you slay them! Tight lines!

Btw, you may already know this, but while you’re looking at low tide, through a cast net into the holes you see. Odds are you’ll get a bunch of live shrimp 🦐 💪

@@mackrobertsonfishing6213 No, I didnt know that, thanks.the cast net was the first thing I packed. I figure like you that some recon is in order. I'm trying to come up with a plan that I know will be out the window as soon as I get there. I may be out on those rips that you mentioned or at least start there. Thanks for the responce
