Mysore Rasam is a very tasty rasam which can be made on special occasions.Easy to make, it can pep up any meal!
Ingredients
Tamarind small lemon size ball
Salt to taste
Cooked Toor Dal 1/2 cup
Tomato1 (ripe)
Curry leaves a few
Hing/asafoetida a pinch
Coriander leaves a few
Ghee 1 tsp
Oil 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds /14 tsp
Dry red chillies 2-3
For masala
Oil 1 Tsp
Coriander seeds 2 Tbsp,Channa dal 2 Tsp
Dry red chillies 5-6
Black pepper 5-6
