It looks to be an old travel motor court where the rooms were individual cabins. They used to be very popular in the 50's and early 60's.

Wonder Hussy I came back to this vid because I think this place has some amazing architecture and interesting left overs from its inhabs, but what got me was the crazy constitutionalist who are spouting output their right to call you all kinds of trash and step on your constitutional rights as some form of letting you know how important it is to them. The irony is that they NEVER seem to realize that they are defying their own proclamation in telling you how you should act. Love your viids, you always do it like I would if I hadn't wasted my time bothering to do other people's bullshit! Thanks again!

I'm glad to see another video. I have caught up on your backlogged videos, so now I'm jonesing for some new videos. I can tell you are very intelligent. You do a great job, and I enjoy the cute shit you do like that laugh, and the way you talk in different tones sometimes. It's the cutest shit ever. I'm crushin' on ya, I won't lie. Can I make a request for you to do videos more frequently? We all would like that but I know life gets in the way. Another cute thing you do is the way you point as you're describing a distance or building...Hard to explain. One of my fave vids is when you were walking towards a swing, and the daytime was nearing dusk. You planned to sit and watch the sun go down while sipping wine. You made a comment that was something like If you can't see the beauty of the desert, you aren't even trying... That was excellent. I forgot which video that was, but I'd like to go back and rewatch that video. Keep up the fantastic travels, and keep being a lil cutie. :)) I really like the longer videos too.

Based on the stuff out by the trailer, my guess is that it was some sort of libertarian commune. I googled The 5000 Year Leap and American Outrage and they both seem to have some sort of anti- big government/libertarian message. It's a strange coincidence that Cliven Bundy lives close by, the books and dvd seems to align with his political views. Maybe the property used to belong to him and was abandoned when he got locked up.

That oddball shaped thing is sand that was fused together during one of the Nuke test from the 50's. Commune just means it's a community. All towns and villages are communes. Everybody knows everybody, everybody helps each other out. The kind of thing people keep calling a commune is actually a co-op, where everyone co-operates for the good of everybody else. A water softener is packed with resin beads. Hard water with calcium and magnesium flows through this resin and, in a process called ion exchange, the hardness ions in the water trade places with soft ions on the resin beads. The result is soft water. When beads are coated the Backwash with Brine is done and minerals are washed from the beads so the process can start over.

Looks like a communal setting of some kind - possibly a bigamist religious order, or a migrant labor camp (we have several such camps operating in southwest Idaho). The old produce van kind of suggest that as well. 9:08 bulging can of botulism with no label. Wouldn't you just come right out of your skin if as you were walking around a dark corner in one of those cabins, a hand reached out, grabbed you by the shoulder, and spun you around to face ... God only knows what kind of horror. Stay safe out there.

My scenario would be that you stumbled onto the compound of a polygamist. His multiple children raised by each of his 7 Mormon wives in their own separate cabins. The abandoned Nissan Optima had a license plate. On that plate would've been a registration sticker, revealing the year in which the car was last legally driven. At the time when premium beers cost abt $7.95 a case and retailed for abt $3.35 a six-pack, Red White & Blue beer was a discount brand (by Pabst Brewing Co) which only cost abt $4.95 a case and sold for under $2.00 for a six-pack. Cheap beer! The Constitution is a fixed document. But it can be amended. Such change simply requires 2/3 approval by the House and the Senate and only 75% of the states legislatures to ratify. Or, If 2/3 of state legislatures call for a new constitutional convention (Since 1788 this has never happened)

I have been a paranormal researcher for many years and EVPs are my specialty - You are absolutely right about this location being spooky since this video seemed to be full of EVPs - I kept hearing voices in the audio track and would go back and play them again and sure enough, someone was talking, usually at a spot where you worried about someone seeing you or you referencing the spooky nature of the place... I'd bet a little research into that place would turn up some very disturbing or violent history... Good video.
