This house is in excellent condition!!! Why tear it down 😭😭😭 This house is perfect! Red carpet! Those wallpapered bathrooms! I’d love to live here. I’ve been watching your videos for a while. You’re one of my very favorite explorers. We like the same style of homes. And I was born in the 60s. ☺️

That was a really fantastic retro home! It definitely was a higher-end home for the mid-60s. The foyer, and the entire home really, was what's a beautiful quality design and was apparently cared for since it was in remarkable condition for its age. Cool explore!! 😎🤟✌️

Wow! Another gorgeous house Ethan. I just love it and wouldn’t change very much if it were mine. Beautiful classic layout. Lovely foyer and staircase. Great stone fireplace. The kitchen not large but seems well thought out. I kind of remember seeing this dining room with the wallpaper and my favorite chandelier in the house though all were beautiful. Those bathrooms upstairs were so groovy. This house seems so well kept. Shame on those who want to demolish this!! I would live there in a heartbeat and just want to really update the basement. Thanks Ethan for another cool one. Take care, be well and stay safe!!

Someone took care of this home with love. Cool house you have found. A lot of great time period pieces. Well built and lots of fun items. Pretty dark in areas that are not well illuminated. The light you see while exploring is not what we see in the recording. Too bad we can't see the things you find as well as you can. Blessings and stay safe and healthy.

It breaks my heart to know a fantastic house like this is going to be razed. It was loved and cared for, for almost 60 years, and now it will be gone and replaced by garbage. Such a very, very sad comment on our society.

Oh my gosh i really love this one! 🥰It actually reminds me of some of the ones you did from a few yrs back. The highlights for me were the original light fixtures, the wood floors, the bathrooms (oh my heart!) and even things like that curved wall as you turn and go down the main floor hallway. The kitchen was compact, but that was sort of the style back then. You're right though, it would've been awesome to see how it looked with the original stove and fridge (i wonder if it was yellow like the walls?). As always, thank you for taking us along and stopping to point out all the special details--it's the next best thing to being there and seeing them with our own eyes. 🙂

This house was amazing - the fact it was still the same style as when it was built is incredible. The only main modern upgrade that I noticed was the Hunter Innova ceiling fan in the first den which is 1990s. The pther fans and some floors are definately 90/00s. The shag carpet is epic! And the bathrooms are cringeworthy good -especially the blue one - and sooooo damn cool. I would move into this house just like it is! Excellent explore as always Ethan!

Love this house! I was 2 in ‘65 and it brings back some very old memories. That front office screams the times from the shag carpeting to the long straight drapes. If I’m not mistaken wall to wall carpeting was a very new thing at that time and rapidly grew in popularity. The wallpaper in the bathrooms makes me think of the psychedelic era where LSD was a big influence in art. The ceiling fans I’m guessing were added on much later maybe the ‘80’s. That’s when they became very popular. You never saw them in houses in the ‘60’s that I can recall. Very nice tour Ethan. I always look forward to your videos.

Thanks for documenting it, Ethan. I am bummed it's being torn down, as well... Imagine acquiring it as a rich person and making it a time capsule stuck in the 60s: 50s diner style kitchen, vintage furniture, vintage poster of bands and blockbuster movies popular in the 50s and 60s, vintage collectibles exposed on a glass case... The only things modern would strictly be in compliance with current day's norms. What I don't like in this house are the chandeliers. Not because of how they look, but because I firmly believe that chandeliers are made to ornate high ceilings. As a tall person, I'd bump into this crap every once in a while, in my absent-minded moments. Also, chandeliers on low ceilings just gives pinata.

Oh my goodness, this was like walking into a house I lived in from 2000-2009 in Miami, OK. It had this same exact staircase only with mint green wool carpet and we had paneling on the walls. It too was built in 1965. The owner was pretty well off so everything was top of the line at the time. They had 4 children and each child got to pick the color of their room. One was pink walls with red carpet, blue walls-blue carpet, yellow walls, gold carpet. The other two rooms were the mint green with the mint green wool carpet. One of the bedrooms had a cedar closet too. The kids bathroom had 2 sinks and 4 towel holders. It even had a laundry chute in the shower area to send clothes down to the laundry room. The formal living and dining room was to the right and the dining room had a mural on the wall just like this house. It had an intercom system and it had a pass through from the kitchen to the dining room for entertaining. It had a small basement as well. The den had a huge rock fireplace, blue carpet and paneled walls. Most of the rooms had window seats as well. The laundry room had a sink and a stool in it and a built in ironing board. The garage had tons of storage with built in cabinets and a potting shed on the side. The outside of the house was carthage stone (we lived near Carthage, Missouri where it came from). This house was very well built. However, it looks nothing the same on the inside. It has been totally remodeled and most of the carpet removed and the paneling. It was huge, around 3200 sf. So this video brought back lots of memories from that house!!!!

What a amazing house!! I wouldn't have the heart to change much.. especially upstairs bathroom!! The counter space is amazing. Nothing like that anymore! Does anyone realize how hard it'd be to wallpaper a ceiling in pattern!! Foil paper was difficult.. amazing how things come back around. In 70s shag carpeting was still going strong. Hated it! Who owned it this do you know? Or what happened to the owners?? It's sad. The outside still looks impressive too..

Good day Ethan; this house is in really good shape for as old as it is that is for sure but sad to say I never was a fan for the 60 era when it came down to quality and the materials that they used, that’s when polyester and recycle plastics were coming into play. The best part for me was that Tiffany Ceiling looking lamp. The rest of the home is definitely dated that is for sure. Thank you for sharing Ethan. You take care and be safe.❤️🫶🏻💕
