Wow! First, allow me to congratulate you with the finding! You've done a scrupulous work looking for the information on the pen. And I have learnt a lot from you today. Second, allow me to congratulate you with a great and rare pen in your collection! Third, the language is Japanese, the text seems to be written by an educated person - too little kana. And fourth, being a believer myself I love those messages you leave in your videos! May He bless you!

I would humbly suggest that if Pilot made this pen out of its usual 'custom' materials,it would have have a very successful medium priced pen in its inventory. A combination of quality build materials and that nib would see to that.

Agreed Andrew! Actually Pilot had a lot of wonderful engineered pens that would still make the market to this day if they have continued with their production. :)

Have a look at Doug Rathburn on Inkquiring Minds pen restorations. He cleans up resins and nibs wonderfully. I suspect if you polish up the pen you will probably want to keep it in your collection.

If I were you, I would keep the pen. Pilots are excellent, and this one is truly unusual. But if you want to sell, let me know. I might be interested.

Thank you Mark! Appreciated your thoughts! I may sell this pen to be honest to cut down my collection.
