I have the Stealth. With the spreader bar detached, it packs well at the wheel side edge of the golf bag, also creating an extra hard protective layer. What I also love about it is how fast it dries. Often having sessions just before packing stuff, it's crucial to have everything as dry as possible asap, to avoid overweight $$$

So true, I got hit with $150 over size fee and a $150 over weight fee because of wet gear one time… it was brutal. Also love how I can basically throw it in my car without thinking after a session and it doesn’t drip everywhere

Great video with honest and unbiased review. If you still have some money left, could you buy a manera Halo and test it for me 😅 ? I hesitate between Mystic, Ride Engine and Manera

I’ll definitely try to get my hands on one. One of the goals of the channel is to be a place where I can share honest reviews not influenced by the brands themselves. For what it’s worth, I’ve had two ride engine carbon harnesses crack on me. I was able to get a replacement, but that then cracked too ( where the shell meets the stitching at the top of the harness). So far the majestic x held up better and time will tell with the Stealth

I have the Stealth. Easily the best waist harness. Go the bigger size. The wings on the front plate lock in and stop it jamming your ribs when you're boosting.

Hi Evan! Don't you think these hard shell harnesses are too grippy for foil riding? I have a Majestic and was considering to change to Stealth, however, even if I loose the harness a lot, it won't twist on my waist. I suppose we must use these hard shell harnesses with rope sliders for foil or get used with a fixed point hook and use the harness tightly adjusted.

Yeah, I ride mine with the rope slider basically all the time. I use the little loop when I'm on a twin tip, and then I just pop it out and let it slide on the rope for when I'm foiling. I tried a hook recently and didn't love it :)

This is 100% why you just buy harness and rent if your traveling. It's not worth losing your kite or paying the airline for the baggage if they charge you for an oversized bag which they probably are at least $200. Which is what I paid 15 years ago then if you're smart you pay insurance on the price of your kite.

Hi Evan! Do you thing this harness support you to float on the water? I bought one but waiting to put hands on. Tks.

Are you asking if this is a flotation device? I don’t think it would provide much float, you should still wear a life jacket or impact vest if you want additional safety.

@@erbartlettyour answer help me. I use a anti-impact which has less power of lift so if the harness help a little is a good think. Tks bro.

@@meucarronocapricho I dont think it will provide much float. The foam is mostly there to prevent the harness from absorbing water. Enjoy it!

I can’t stand webbing and mystic is great but RE is where it’s at

I tried RE first and had two carbon harnesses crack. They were definitely more comfortable than any previous harnesses I’d worn, but then when I tried the mystic x and the stealth I realize that the slightly bigger shape was even more comfortable to me. That being said, harnesses are very specific to each individuals body type and preferences
