Here are some rare Unitrons! Some of them are so rare that they probably do not exist, except on paper. As Unitron was facing the onslaught of new types of ED and flourite telescopes in the mid 1980’s, it struggled to compete. It may have found it impossible to source comparable objectives. For whatever reason, it was forced out of the market and the last remnants of the telescope brand ended by the early 1990’s. But not before it made some rather desperate attempts as shown in this video.
