You can see the bike jerk up and down when you shift 1st to 2nd. That’s smoothness I could do without

Just to be clear, right before I shift into 2nd I roll over a speed bump, and when I do actually shift into 2nd there really isn't much of a difference. And remember, I was doing less than 20mph. At higher speeds it's extremely smooth.

You had a lot of fun with yours, and who knows, maybe you’ll get another one some day. Lots of bikes you still haven’t had though, so there’s that!!!!

@brianeaston3748 thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! We are a lucky bunch to have these bikes to call our own, that for sure!! I’m curious, what part of the world do you hail from?

@@brianeaston3748 Very cool!! Hope the weather cooperates sooner than later!! Can't wait to get over there someday, to see the area around Strathmiglo (24km southeast of Perth) where some of my people were from. Beautiful country to explore on that GSA of yours!!!!

Great bikes, I would say that for me, unless you're going off road, the RT model is better on the road.

You might be right....I've never ridden an RT since I already have a GoldWing as a street bike. But I absolutely knew I wanted a GS since I planned to use it as an adventure bike!

It's been a very wet, windy winter in Scotland, yes there's alot of nice places to ride too and I'm about 10 miles away from strathmiglo, I often have a ride past strathmiglo going too St Andrews, the home of golf,if you're into that! Also not far from the Wallace monument in Stirling! The only place I've been too in America is New York,we got married there, which was special 👍

10 miles only….what a coincidence!! If you run into an Balcanquals please say hi for me 😄 I have golf clubs but they are very dusty and hiding somewhere in the garage!! I just can’t find the time when there is still so much to explore on the GS and GoldWing.

@@twobikesandadrone yeah, it's a small world 😁that's an unusual name, never heard that before, but unusual names are common in Scotland 😁 Yeah, I don't like golf, I'd rather be spending time on my bike,it's run in now and had first service,so ready to go, Its been in the garage since November, hibernating untill the better weather arrives 👍
