I have one of these PECO turntables. Will be watching very closely! :)

The Peco NB-55 turntable is a bit of a failure design wise. I could never get consistent electrical connectivity. It appears the springed contacts from the bottom of both rails to the split brass ring in the base of the well is a hit and miss affair. After countless attempts to get my loco's to move on the bridge I gave up and wired directly to the bridge rails to my DCC bus via a DPDT switch in order to reverse the current when the bridge is turned 180 degrees. NOW THE TURNTABLE WORKS PERFECTLY WITH NEVER ANY LOSS OF POWER!! Now I know why this turntable was so cheap.

Thank you for the reply. Sorry to hear you had problems wit the reversing polarity. I did not. I just wish I had more room so I could have used a larger turntable. Good to hear you have yours working with no problems.
