Great video David!!! Interesting comments... it's a nice size train room and layout. Trains seem to be running pretty well... Hopefully the weather turns to the better soon for you as winter here in Pittsburgh is just starting!!!

Hi David, it’s nice to know how large of a area you have. At this time my layout is a 4’ by 7’ 6”i would like a bigger space but I’ll take what I can get for know. I like seeing your trains running. Thanks for sharing. Have a good day. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanks for sharing David. Most of us in Canada still use inches and feet.(well the older generation does). Stay warm. At least you don’t have snow.

Thanks for that information, David. I appreciate the measurements, especially of the peninsula and the clearance between the 2 levels there. It seems like we model railroaders are often concerned about having adequate clearance, in order to reach into tight spots to fix derailments and clean the track. Sometimes we end up without enough clearance to do this comfortably. The overall height of my main level is 56 inches, which is chest-height for me. For me, that's another very important consideration, especially in N scale. Thanks again, my friend. ...Roy

Thanks Roy, I made a calculated decision to go for the minimum gap I could to make the climb up to the main as gentle as possible. For me the staging is just staging, trains aren’t made up or broken apart down there, that’s all done in the two yard areas.

Stay warm, the local ski resort near my house got a light dusting of snow the other day. This time last year it was 35 degrees here.

Thanks for all the information David. Interesting stuff, but as an HO model my curiosity probably is not as great as some of your N scale brethren. Enjoyed it nevertheless. Take care and maybe the warm (and drier) weather will appear soon.

Hi DAve! They sound like some nice broad curves for N scale.

Was the tape measurer in inches and feet? It appeared to be. Does it have metric on it also? Happy Holidays and thanks for the update. Never mind you said you couldn't convert it to metric, too funny. I live in the USA and I couldn't either. Cool to see someone so far away from the southern part of the USA, so friendly towards their subscribers, thank you for that. Keep them coming after the holidays please.

This is slow going trying to catch up but well worth it. I saw a new vid yesterday popped up but I think it will be a few weeks yet.

Here's a Christmas-y N scale layout you may like. It's a bit different, and done very nicely: kzitem.info/news/bejne/tn2v14ehaoqYqHY

That’s so cool. I’d like to model some snow but I’ve been told it’s hard to keep nice and white?

@@nessriverrailroad1299 I've got some Woodland Scenics winter products now, and hope to one day put them to use and find out. Seems a little vacuuming and brushing would be all that's needed to keep a snow scene clean.
