We love bearings we install many bearings in many styles to many high tolerances, it is a good life and the bearing continue to improve as over the years we have seen technology lead to better faster more accurate and longer lasting bearing one could only dream of in the early days of these two California Desert guys could imagine. What a great insiders look at a great bearing factory a lot goes into these beautiful looking devices. Thank you for making this great video to share what is made and how in the world of bearings. Hello, can you give me the permission to use the video: "Nachi Bearings" in the class for my University of Technology in Bingen (Germany). It´s a good video for the manufacturing of Ball Bearings and i need something like this for the student.

How are the Nachi bearings compared to Koyo? Thank you.

koyo was acquired by a company of the chinese regime. therefore its quality was lost and only the name remains. In addition, many companies are counterfeited in the Chinese regime. to be careful what you buy.

My apologies. The bearings outlasted the rest of the alternator, mainly the diodes. These bearings are the best. The tolerances, metalurgy, and seals are as good as perfection gets.

The greatest mystery hasn't been answered in this video. How do the balls get inserted between the inner and outer grooves? The video shows them being dropped in, but then how are the clearances reduced between the outer groove, the balls, and the inner groove?
@msftguy
8 жыл бұрын
+Landrew0 At 8:21 you can see that the inner ring shifts after the balls are inserted. Because the balls aren't evenly distributed around the bearing, it's possible to shift the inner ring to create a gap large enough to insert bearings. Once re-distributed evenly, the balls center the inner ring, removing the gap.

but there is another mystery unanswered: how are full-complement bearing balls inserted?
@Landrew0

@@msftguy Saw it somewhere that the outer race is actually broken to put the balls in. Then it's put into a larger housing to contain it again.
