Harmonic Voices from Kohima district was adjudged as the winner of the first Nagaland Choir Olympics (NCO) held under the aegis of Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) at RCEMPA, Jotsoma on Wednesday evening managed by Musicians’ Guild.
Winner of the Kohima district for Olympic and also the Ultimate Hornbill Choir competition winner in 2014 deservingly got the title and was declared as best choir group in Nagaland.
Kohima team received a cash prize of Rs.1 lakh along with a running trophy and certificate.
While the first runners-up Cantamus Choir from Dimapur and second runner up The Canticles from Phek received Rs.50,000 and Rs.25,000 respectively.
