Hauptwerk Orgelmusik

Hauptwerk organ music
With CM 261 every NAK singer "rings a bell". Hermann Ober's Hallelujah is one of the most beautiful and well-known songs from our old NAC choirbook. The choral writing is based on words from the Holy Bible. Revelation 19:6-7 and 9.
"Hallelujah, for Almighty God has taken the kingdom. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come and his wife is ready. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb. Hallelujah! Amen."
The exact Bible verses from the English translation can be found in the video.
I dedicate this song to my good friend @StrahlerAchtundsechzig Jens who has often played, conducted and sung this song. More often than me ;-)
@Orgelfix Patrick Denninger wrote the ingenious choral intro.
