Nice review. I really do like the Japanese style of knives. I have a Shun chefs knife. Wonderful. But not rugged. Great for slicing vegetables and meats NOT attached to bone. I once seriously chiped the edge on some beef rib bones. Have a great day.

Was not sure but looked like a full tang Knife, I always say a good knife is important. But you also need to keep it sharp.

Yes it's full tang and right now it's razor sharp.
