I can't believe this video doesn't have more views. I'm a chiropractor and I own and rigorously use my Nami E to commute to midtown from the Bronx. And once I get the equipment I'll be doing my own tire changes because FFR charges so much. This is a great video. 👍🏿

This video is perfect! Could not ask for a better guide on how to swap a tire on the Burn E. I hope it’s a long time before I have to swap mine but this gives me hope that it’s actually doable with the right tools and some patience! Looking forward to more of your content

It's definitely not easy and Ever makes it look simple. But it can be done. Just have the right tools and the right support to hold it in place.

This was beautiful! It let me know that I can't do this on my own and I immediately contacted a few bike shops in my area to see if they can change the stock tires to PMT's on my Burn-E 2 Max. 😂

Thanks Doc, Your channel interests me because you use your scooter for work, I have a light heavy weight on order, I'm a Contracts Inspector and perform post construction audits on road construction projects, parking is always an issue. Thank you for your uploads.

It's been a really wonderful tool. A little more challenging to get around now that the cold weather has really set in, but overall it's a very versatile tool. The cost of parking in the big cities alone is an incentive for everyone to try and ditch the car and look for other methods of transport. Good luck on your business and keep us updated on your use of the scooter!

I used this video as a reference since I needed to replace a failed motor on my scooter. I used zip ties to assist with removing the tire and didnt need a drop a grease to put it back on. Also, The Nami Burn-E Gen2 has quick disconnect cables which makes this kind of job so much easier.

We're not sure on the specific tire, but we can get back to you on that. The ZIP ties were a great hack and we're glad Ever showcased this for the audience. You can tell he'd changed a few tires in his day.

Love the fact you do house calls on a scooter (at all actually, it's a personalization most of us are sadly missing) thank you for the Nami videos very useful, I've had to change a controller, motor and tyres, running the PMT Stradales now, vastly superior to stock. Please continue to post doc on scooter videos. You recently posted "challenge yourself", I have a challenge for you doc on scooter having fun (impossible not to on Nami but hey..). What you're doing is awesome.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with Nami scooter. One tip, I prefer to put a drop of Loctite to each rotor screw as well, but that's a detail. What concern me a bit are the tires itself. It looks like a cheap ones. Nami Burn- e is a beast and good quality tires are nessery. Did you check maximum speed limit for the tires? I had similar one (same patern) on my Kugoo G-Booster scooter and they overheated even at speed around 50km/h. I am looking forward to next video!

don't need to remove the mud guard closer to the suspension, also no need to remove the valve stem, just let the air out. Unplug the motor cable! Save you some headache and time just doing that. Don't over tighten the ratchet strap (if you use one) to help seat the tire. Bigger air compressor will definitely help seat the tire. I have a tiny one and it took a bit to get enough air pressure to seat

Man i know the wheel is used but imagine doing this on a brand new escoot worth 4k lol. changing the tyre the old fashioned way is what is stopping me from buying escooter from new. i mean i dont mind the split rims but rarely see those options esp from nami... and i want a nami!

What's the speed difference between Street tire and off-road tire?
@earnestmedicine
2 жыл бұрын
There’s pretty minimal difference. However, we are not topping out the scooter on its speed so it’s hard to say with certainty. It does make a pretty bad ass whirring noise as it’s chirping down the road though. Probably the coolest feature honestly.

I have a question, if you don't have an air compressor can you use a bike pump to fill the tubeless tires?
@earnestmedicine
2 жыл бұрын
You sure can. Just make sure that your pump allows you to see the PSI for your tire. You'll want to follow the specifications of the specific tire/inner tube that you're using. The shop had the air compressor so we just let them use what they were comfortable with!

@@earnestmedicine okay good, I do have a tire pump that reads psi. I ordered the Nami Burn-E2 Max and I'm receiving it Thursday and I am going to put some pmt tires on it, so I'm doing my research now so I can see what tools I'll need to do it properly.

Are you kidding me? This is absolutely ridiculous. There are almost no mechanics who will do this. Even this mechanic, prob the best you could find for something like this, could not adequately articulate exactly what he was doing at a number of stages in a manner that only another master mechanic would understand.

To clarify, you want the Doctor who sees medically compromised patients to takeoff his mask while working in close proximity to an employee of a business that sees hundreds of walk-in customers a day? I get that it’s a little annoying for presentation purposes, but you got to work with the environment you’re in.
