I’ve been to all of the Nankin shops and the thing that has always impressed me is the staff. They are all knowledgeable in so many areas and always willing to help you out. And they willingly we try to locate what you need at either one of their four stores, a supplier or even a competitor. Ypsi has been my go to store since it opened and is one of the main reasons I’ve stayed in the RC hobby. They are the best!

I've seen the signage but never stopped in. 65 y.o. boomer used to build model kits as a kid in the 60s. My older brother got me started on it. I WILL be stopping in soon! PS I grew up in this city (Southgate) and moved back here some years ago. It is noteworthy to state that this location (building) was at one time one of the BEST hardware stores ever. Grand Hardware....family busines that was there until the 2000s and SORELY MISSED. How cool that it's a great store again. Make Southgate Great Again! Sorry couldn't help myself. Thanks for the video I may have never gone in there!

That building you shot this video in, was originally one of the best hardware stores in the area. If you took a part from a washing machine, or a lawnmower, or what ever, they would have a replacement that would work. Very knowledgeable guys that worked there. I have a few models,( mostly Nascar) a pick up, and a SR-71 Blackbird model that I can't seem to get the landing gear to stay where they're supposed to. I've got a '67' Chevelle still in the box I got off of Amazon a few years ago.

Cool kits Michael.... Yea, the landing gear on those can sure be touchy/tricky.

Would be nice if our Nankin in Ypsilanti had a third of that stock. They treat our store like a red headed step child. I won't drive all the way out there.
