This is where her soft spirit doesn’t help her. That point is where you get into your killer mentality and fight /scream/focus on every shot; not the time to cry. Bless you naomi, such a sweet girl makes me sad to see her like this.

She needs to relax, use less muscle, and increase margins on her strokes. Don’t need to win the point right away and it is ok to rally longer points as long as you can steadily take control and weaken your opponent for an easy put away at the end. I used to play like her and more often than not l ended matches exactly like Naomi did today. I hated tennis during this time in my life until l learned to settle down.

Seun I am no grand champion of any kind but l have lots of experience losing matches by doing the exact opposite from what l wrote and the exact same play in this video. I used to use too much muscle, not enough margin of error, tried to end the point too early, played poor percentage tennis, and made uncountable unforced errors and lost dismally every single time. I learned the hard way this is the easiest way to lose to players less talented than me because they were more mentally strong. Playing like this gave myself absolutely no chance to win and l cried all the time too. Much better to keep the ball in the court and make your opponent win because it gives you a chance to win and that is when l started to win matches.

Naomi needs to grow up. Her father should stop baby-ing her. She's a grown up and should learn to fend for herself and work with different coaches for growth. She keeps hiding behind 'I'm very shy'. So annoying.

well after her documentary has been published on Netflix, the reason she’s crying is because she’s having a hard time focusing after the lost of Kobe Bryant and his daughter. She wasn’t on her a-game today but she definitely redeemed herself. and she even says in the documentary that she suffers a lot of pressure. Everyone has their times when they fall.

I’m sorry I have no sympathy for this girl she has a mind of a child let alone a champion. No one seems to understand she is representing Japan in this match and to commit 50UEs is a bloody disgrace, I don’t give shits what she is dealing with. Every time things not going her way she just sulks and literally tanks it which is fine if she’s representing herself. Just looking at her is depressing in these situations she chooses to put herself in because she dosent dig in she just takes more risks and gives so many freebies it’s like why bother.

I don't feel sorry for her at all. She had Sasha was doing well, and traded him in "cause, um, he don't , um supports me, um". She sounds like a 9-year-old, and she got all caught-up in her press clippings and believing somehow she was beautiful and smart, what!!! Obviously I can't argue about her ability to play tennis, sometimes, (Sloane Stevens clone), but if you want to be "all that" and a bag a chips, you've got to bring-it everyday! Hey, she's a millionaire cause she had a great run at it, she's got some trophies and that holds weight and can't be denied, but if what makes you a champion is that you've got championship trophy's at your house, ok, fine, you're the champ...this year. Yeah, I know, it's easy to tell people like me to take a short walk off a long pier, but people like me are the ones who buy tickets to matches, and pay for subscriptions to the tennis channel, and how first place prize money gets over 4 million, yeah, cause unimportant folks like me pay $8.00 for a bottle of coke at the concession stand. There's an old saying, "if you don't want to be seen and talked about, then don't be seen and talked about "! (by the way, where are Steffi Graf and Pete Sampras). Hey Osaka, this isn't hard, it's called cause and effect. Find out what's causing the problem, because it's obviously effecting your tennis, I mentioned a couple of possibles above - - hint, hint - - you'll usually find that there's one constant that's being the major cause, so you might want to take a long look in the mirror, as it seems everything around you keeps changing, maybe something else, or "someone else", needs to make a change.

Good Knowledge y’all are all over the place...are you mad because she changed her coach, because of the way she speaks, or because you willingly pay for tickets and overpriced food at tennis events? Pick one, otherwise it seems like you are just hating for no valid reason. Players have bad days...
@goodknowledge2013

@@ajollypanda4175 Why do I have to pick one? She's a pro athlete, crying like a child, about how she's getting her B-HIND handed to her because she's doing a poor job, (with her on-court play, and her off-court decisions). She's the one constant in her sudden fall from grace, but I have an idea, why don't you step up and give her the "one piece" of advice about the apparent "only" one thing she needs to do. She's must be surrounded by folks like yourself who keep giving her the same poor advice..."it's ok dear, you can't win them all - - and none of this is your fault". Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I'll be grabbing my credit card to charge these March BNP tickets...I heard they allow you to bring in your own water for free; see, cause and effect, I've saved $8 bucks already.
