I thought about this. Osaka will beat Andreescu as much as good Andreescu is. In my whole life of watching tennis, I have never seen a more perfect tennis game than Osaka's. Andreescu has a lot of will to win though. Andreescu and Osaka might well be the Djoker-nadal-federer kind of deal for next decade, hopefully there is another one to call it Big 3
@KaitainCPS
5 жыл бұрын
@@Brij873 Osaka firing on all cylinders has the weapons to beat Andreescu. She has the best ground strokes in the WTA right now. But Andreescu's all-round game is the best: her shot choice, her variety, her ability to thread the needle to find winners at crucial moments.
@Brij873

@@KaitainCPS Andreescu is awesome. Very strong personality and the will to win. Like Nadal or Djoker or one of those who don't look like losing even when they are losing. But to what I have watched from Becker, Graf to now, I have been watching tennis for a long time . I personally think Osaka's game is the best I have seen on both men's and women's till date. Her game is closest to technical perfection. Andreescu's game is different and good no doubt. TAhat is why I said these two will go on to become just like the Big 3. I really never watched so much women's (I watched some but none had it till now) after Graf retired

Naomi was hitting very freely today, and going for the lines. Well played. Andrea...you really need to work on your serve. You are starting most service points already on the back foot, and especially against quality players like Naomi. Your serve speed was 130-140 kph on the FIRST serve. This is like Naomi's second serve. Also, with your discretionary shots, you are hitting uo the middle, and your opponent has very little movement to make. This lets the set up and put their shots where they want, meaning you are in trouble. Go for the lines, girl!

here we see the difference between the top players and the okay players....top players have excellent anticipation skills ie they know the instant the other player hits the ball how soon they need to start running to hit a return. the okay players think ok here it comes..um...um...okay its over there...um um...i will start running....oh drat its too far away i cant get that one either! they need to move in a SUDDEN BOLT fashion not a OKAY LETS HAVE A CONFERENCE CALL fashion....i have helped several newbie players and the skill that they lack the most they tell me is the mental recognition of WHEN they need to start running to hit a return...their thinking is just too slow they tell me. playing progressively faster ping pong sharpens ones reactive thinking n acting times dramatically i find.
