What can the back burner be used for if I don't have the rotisserie? (And also don't have the sizzle zone because it's a built in model)

Awesome video! Everyone has nothing but great things to say about Napoleon because of its accessories, but how does it cook? Does it cook evenly? That's a trait that separates Weber from others. I want a Napoleon but want to make sure there are no "hot spots" or anything like that

Pretty much every grill cooks a bit hotter towards the back because the lid hinges there. We think Napoleon and Weber are pretty similar when it comes to heat distribution. Cheers!

Those spaces are intended to be used as integrated tool hooks or condiment holders.

how does this compare to a weber equivalent grill - so confused as to which way to go!

Very similar to Weber, but I find the high heat end is better on Napoleon. Also, watch out when comparing Weber "Sear Station" and a dedicated infrared burner like Napoleon. The Weber sear station is an extra tube burner, not an infrared burner. I would recommend Napoleon for this reason, the high heat end of the grill wins, as does the infrared burner option.

The Napoleon grill DOES NOT even start to compare to a Weber or Grand Hall grill. The Napoleon grill is junk. I've owned all three and the Napoleon is the cheapest made.

@@budmabry4887 Hey, thanks for the review. I'm debating between the Napoleon LEX 485 vs Weber Genesis II 335 ... Weber wins hands down? The lack of infrared concerns me when it comes to Weber... does the Weber sear station do a good job at charing steaks?

let your pocket and the features you seek, define which to buy. Webber and Napoleon are both excellent grills....both on the more expensive side of the scale but with that comes amazing warranties too. On the other hand, on the inexpensive grills there are some amazing products too. Well maintained, they will give you years of enjoyable meals too, without breaking the bank. KitchenAid and Broil Mate come to mind. You can get very well thought out grils in those brands for a fraction of the cost of the same features on a Napoleon or a Weber. Doesn't matter the brand, if you don't maintain it well, it won't last.

Sounds like you don't know how to maintain a bbq grill, if you managed to let one of these rust out. It is specially important, with entry level bbq grills, to give them the appropriate maintenance. From the cleaning of it, to the cover...all important factors. Get the wrong cover, and any grill will start to rust in a matter of a couple of month. I don't know you, but I reach customer service via email. Never had any issues. My problems get solved, and I move on. Of course, neglect isn't covered by any warranty on any grill.

@@adrenalinehigh2070 i know this comment is 2 years old but just in case others are still looking at this lemon for a BB-Q, read the costco reviews! This POS rusts out after one season. Don't listen to arrogant people who haven't owned it and don't know what they're talking about..
