Some people have been misinterpreting Nas for nearly 25 years now with his message. He's never changed. Whether its from Ether or Nastradamus to his Nasir album. He's always been about shedding this corporeal BS that gets everybody down, that gets people killing each other over nothing. He lived through the lives ruined by the east coast west coast shit, then he called out JayZ and Mobb Deep for their manipulation and fueling the fire (we can see how Jayz never really change with all the lives he's ruined as a billionare slumlord/gentrifier), But so many people saw Nas and his 100% positivity and realism since day 1 and just couldn't believe it, they always thought he had some hidden motives or was getting people to disappear, they saw him spread love to Tupac as if Nas was going to get him killed. No man, Nas has been legit since day 1. This King's Disease trilogy has been the wax seal for me.

Nas is amazing lyrically. Much like Wu Tang. He also crushes beef. His song Ether is a FIRE diss track. He is a bit preachy sometimes, but I can look past all that. His beats are sometimes slightly unorthodox, however his lyricism is almost second to none. I have been listening and feeling him for decades. He is most definitely a master of his art.
