Nas is unmatched in his lyricism. When I look back at what Nas was spitting at 17 years old it is really quite amazing. React to Nas’ “It Ain’t Hard to Tell”, the official release and the demo version. You tell me if today’s young 17 year old rappers have that kind of depth and can write on a level like that. I am inclined to say a absolutely not,but what do you all think? Never give up on your dreams, no matter who is saying you can’t do it. I tell my children this , ignore the naysayers, because sometimes people want you to succeed but just can’t see your vision. So I tell them to, never ever give up, even if it’s me saying no. There may be somethings I never thought of, or seen, and can’t see how it’s possible. If you do see it, stick to it.

It's more that there's no rappers in the mainstream making music like this anymore with a radio friendly hook. A lot of the wiser outspoken rappers today are either underground, or don't structure the songs right for radio. If this track didn't have the children singing hook as frequently as it is, then this wouldn't get radio play either - Nas, Snoop, BIG, all had their biggest hits on radio because of the hook - they didn't want to play Nuthin But a G Thang on radio until Interscope starting paying stations to play the hook on repeat

So I’m sitting here listening to music and I’m thinking about you guys! I know you don’t judge any type of music so I thought I’d share this with you! I love watching you guys react to music and I always get tickled to death when you hear someone sing who has a lot of depth and soul and just reaches out grabs you from the very back row of an arena! I’m pretty certain that you have never heard of Wynonna Judd, or her mother Naomi for that matter! They started out as a Country music duo in the mid 1980’s and had monumental success through the beginning of the 1990’s till Naomi could no longer continue due to a long term illness. Her daughter continued with her career and still had monumental success even afterwards. It would be a pleasure to see you react to her song called “NO ONE ELSE ON EARTH” I really think you guys would love her! She has so much energy, depth, heart, and soul! She really can reach anyone from the back row of an arena! Trust me! You’ll love her!!
