Once the cars get spread out it's hard to catch the leader. So the best thing to do is get some points. If you had a super fast car you would have no trouble getting to the front, but alot of the cars did good. Gibbs surprised me along with the driver number 3 car. Lots of good driving, but as the announcer said as the field spread out it was hard to catch up.

The new gen cup cars are so much better at this track than the lower series but I still think they should look into spraying the upper lane with compound. Reddick almost had Larson towards the end granted he's the best late race wall driver. But if there was compound the racing at the end could really be even closer at this track. Being here twice a year they need to think about this

It doesnt matter. all the leader has to do is take the guys line and cause dirty air. and you watch the car behind fall back. If your a single lane car your not gonna win.

To enjoy Las Vegas you have to watch the beginning, know what's going in the middle while you do chores...and then the ending is really good racing since they introduced the new gen cars. Otherwise yeah they need to figure something out. Compound on the outside line is what they should do to make the middle of the race worth watching

I like the new cars but get rid of the single lug nut. Keep the stages but get rid of the stage cautions. Or we can compromise and keep the first and drop the second caution. Then we would have a real race

i am very new to Nascar but absolutely hyped. What a sport. Awesome! Really start to love it. One question, why they didn't used slipstream/ pack Racing in Vegas as they did it at Daytona or Atlanta? Isn't it a disadvantage going alone on in oval?

I dont watch nascar much, but i believe its because daytona has higher banking so they can take the corners flat out in dirty air. On lower banks you cant go flat out so going in dirty air slows you down.

people haven't really been a fan of the mid-bank 1.5 miles in a long time. Old atlanta had way more character than vegas, kansas, etc. that being said, last week's race was great.

@@rileyfair5 no I just hate the 1.5 mile tracks, there’s little action, I like the short tracks and road courses and the super speedways. 1.5 mile tracks allow for huge leads and little lead changes with is very boring in my opinion

Unlucky Byron's power move didn't earn him a podium because of his hood got a bit loose, Bell & busher with right rear tyre problems, Larson fly's to his first win of the season and the first win of Vegas too! Reddick tries everything but didn't got Larson this time, it will be an great year with unexpected race finishes 🤩🏆🍾

NASCAR actually made Bristol a boring race to watch..i didnt think that would be possible. All I cared to watch was the two daytonas, the two talladegas and the two bristols. Now i dont bother to watch any of them.

The splitter wasn't over the line, it was on the line. I don't know what the rule is, and it doesn't matter. Just say what's happening with the correct words. You're paid to speak for a living, vocabulary shouldn't be an issue.

The new gen car is way better in Las Vegas than the truck or second tier which is based on the old car. The beginning, restarts and the finish has been much better with the new car. That being said I did skip the middle to get stuff done around the house. Beginning and last 40-50 laps were good. I think introducing a compound on this track would benefit everyone they should look into it

I love NASCAR, but over the past 10ish years NASCAR has gone "Woke". Its all about kissing the feet of all the big corporations/sponsors that give NASCAR money, causing EVERY NASCAR driver to have no personalities, or talk normal anymore during any interview. NASCAR is so dry and soulless, that it reminds me of when I use to watch mainstream media(which I stopped watching mainstream media 13 years ago). NASCAR is a relic, and shell of its former self, and NASCAR ONLY caters to its sponsors

I dont think the million dollar salaries exist anymore. That ended when big name sponsors did a massive exodus OR they dropped the amount they wanted to put up. No more jeff Gordon/Dale Jr. level of salaries exist anymore.
